Bollywood actress, Esha Deol, was born to veteran actors, Hema Malini and Dharmendra. Following her parents' footsteps in the entertainment world for years, she has made a name for herself with her stellar acting and dancing skills. Esha Deol has tied the knot with the love of her life, Bharat Takhtani, on June 29, 2012, in a low-key ceremony at the ISKCON temple in Mumbai. The much-in-love couple was blessed with two wonderful daughters, Miraya and Radhya. After her marriage with Bharat, Esha had taken a long gap from the glamour world. However, she had made a comeback to Bollywood and is pilled up with numerous projects in her pipeline.

In an interview with the Etimes, Esha Deol was asked about the woman she looked up to in her life. She mentioned that the woman to whom Esha look up to is her mother, the 'Dream Girl' of Indian cinema. The doting daughter also praised her mother and added that Hema Malini has always given her cues not only in life but also in her profession. Esha said:
"The one-woman I look up with immense respect and admiration is my mother Hema Malini. She is also one of the most powerful women in our country. Many young women look up to and take cues from her. The way in which she conducts herself, no matter what profession she takes up, is just so dignified, graceful and strong at the same time."

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Esha Deol recalling her childhood with her mother, Hema Malini had once revealed that her mother's activities were fun for her. She had shared:
“My earliest memory of Mom is of her getting ready for shooting. As a kid, it was exciting for me to watch the flurry of activity around her every morning – her hairdresser, make-up man and others busy around her. I was enamoured by the colourful lipsticks and would end up breaking them. After a point, Mom had to get me a wig of sorts and some outfits like hers to keep me from destroying her stuff."

Hema Malini never misses a chance to take a trip down memory lane and make her fans nostalgic with unseen pictures of her family from the good old days. On January 24, 2022, the veteran actress, had taken to her IG handle and had shared a timeless picture of her daughters Ahana and Esha to mark National Girl Child day, along with a heart-melting note on her IG handle. In the monochrome photo, we could see Hema's daughters enjoying a piggy ride on their parents' back, while happily posing for the camera. Along with it, Hema had written:
"Today is the celebration of the girl child. So proud to have my two daughters in my life. #daughter #celebration #girlchild."
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Esha Deol Takhtani had revealed that her mother, Hema Malini spoils her grandchildren with gifts and an immense amount of love. She had said:
"As a grandmother, she's extremely sweet. She breaks the rules we set up for our kids. With her around, they do all the things they're not supposed to do. My daughters raid her dressing table. Nani lets them use her lipstick, her make-up, wear her shoes… I don't deprive the children of screen time but there's a limit. But with Nani, they keep on playing games."
