One of the cutest, loveable and kindest television couple, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and Vivek Dahiya, leave no stone unturned to make each other feel loved and special. While you talk about praising one another in front of everybody or romantic posts on social media dedicated to each other, DiVek (as their fans love to call them) has been an epitome of how successful and love-filled marriage looks like.
Just like a few celebrities, Divyanka and Vivek too fell for each other whilst working together. But in this case, the two were set up by their common friend and co-actor, Pankaj Bhatia. And their relationship culminated into marriage on July 8, 2016, in a grand wedding in Bhopal. Divyanka has made everyone her fan through her acting talent and there is no doubt about that. Recently, the Banoo Main Teri Dulhan actress took another type of project and is currently hosting a famous reality show, The Voice. Her working weekend got a lot better or rather we should say best as her loving hubby, Vivek dropped in on the sets of the show to surprise her. Vivek took to his official Instagram handle and shared a lovely picture posing with wifey on stage. Simple and to the point, he captioned the snaps with a heart emoji. Here, take a look:
Recently, Divyanka celebrated 10 millions fans that she bagged on social media. She is the first Indian television actress to have bagged double-digit fans on Instagram. To express her happiness, she had taken to Instagram and wrote, “Few moments leave you speechless, yet you want to say thousands of words! Vivek took to his official Instagram handle and wrote a long message as to how proud husband he is. Vivek had shared a lovely picture with his wife, Divyanka and along with it wrote, “Today I am a proud husband but even a prouder co-actor! There are very few who can become role models and I truly feel you have for many.”
Sharing how Divyanka inspires him as an actress, Vivek had once stated, "Divyanka inspires me as an actor, as she has made it on her own. She hails from a small town and joined the industry over a decade before me. There is no competition or insecurity. These rumours are a work of fiction. We are so happy together that detractors want to pull us down. I find it stupid to even comment on my marriage or being compared to her. I am confident as an actor and am growing every day. Divyanka is supportive and both of us want to have our own journey as artistes. We don’t discuss work at home unless we feel the need to. What works for us is the fact that there is no communication gap. The 33-year-old actor further added, “Divyanka cribs and in fact, I love that about her. I enjoy when she nags and is grumpy. Now, I have finally realised that she does that when she is hungry. So, whenever she is in a bad mood, I get food for her. What could irk her about me is that I am a lazy person. When we are holidaying, I don’t usually like to step out.”
Talking about her marriage, the Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actress had earlier shared in an interview, “Any marriage doesn’t run on its own. It needs constant polishing for smooth functioning. So, I keep my partner and my family aware that they are my priority. My mind is constantly scheduling and re-scheduling things according to my shoot and my spouse. I plan in advance for holidays so that we all get to spend quality time together. We keep the communication channels open so that there’s little space for confusions.”
Vivek also shared if marriage changed his life, “I am the same guy. I am living more free-spiritedly. She is such a supportive partner. She lets me be me. At the same time, I have become more responsible towards life and my family. Divyanka is a motivator and I feel blessed to have someone like her as my partner”.
With love sparklers in her eyes, Divyanka had once shared how Vivek proposed her. She was quoted as saying, “We went to Bangalore and it was the first time Vivek was meeting my parents. Though we were aware about our feelings, I never thought that he will take a step further. My birthday falls on 14 December and my mother’s birthday falls on 13 December. So, after celebrating my mom’s birthday, we went out for dinner. And had further added, “When I entered my home, I witnessed the entire place was brightly decorated with light and flower petals. At the end of the passage Vivek was standing with a t-shirt in his hand. The specialty about the t-shirt was, on one part it was written that ‘You are an answer to every questions’, while on the other it was written that ‘Divyanka marry me’. Moreover, the words he said I will never forget those. He stated that I have everything that one can gift, the only I don’t have is commitment and he was ready to present me with that. It is one of the unforgettable moments of my life. I was waiting for this day for my entire life”.
Revealing their family planning, Divyanka had once told an online portal, “Not planning a family. Not now for sure. I don't have time. Nurturing and taking care of a baby is a very important job, much more important than a Prime Minister and a President's work. If I do it, I would like to give 100 per cent to my baby. Let's see how it goes.”
