Vivek Dahiya and his wife, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya looked ethereal as they made their appearance at the Indian Telly Awards held on March 20, 2019. While Vivek looked dapper in a navy blue tuxedo, which he teamed with glasses of similar colours, wifey, Divyanka looked like a ‘mermaid’ in a white trumpet gown. Here is a picture from the event:

Divyanka is currently hosting a show, The Voice and her hubby, Vivek, had taken to Instagram and posted a fun-filled picture from the sets of the show, which people speculated to be a slight bump. The media stationed at the award show quizzed the couple on Divyanka’s pregnancy rumours and they had a hilarious reply. Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya was quoted as saying, "The person who has edited that picture is very talented. He actually edited my picture in such a way that my stomach looked super large. I don't know who was behind it." Vivek Dahiya too, took a dig on the same and shared, "That's not an edit. It's the truth. We have removed it and kept it aside now. It is detachable. Whenever we feel like it we attach a pillow on our stomach and go about our day. Then remove it as and when we like." The Yeh Hain Mohhabatein actress also shared, “My fans were really angry at the picture. But I had a hearty laugh. In a 2018 interview with Hindustan Times, Vivek Dahiya had revealed that they won’t be planning for a family anytime soon. He had shared, “These are just rumours. We’re not planning a family already. There are a lot of milestones that need to be achieved. We just want to be ready, I don’t think we’re ready right now.” The doting hubby had also shared that their respective careers are something that this couple is completely focused on, “The news came out that Divyanka was part of the Forbes list (2017 Forbes India Celebrity 100) and we were really happy about it. We aim to go higher. So, there’s a lot of motivation to keep pushing ourselves forward and achieve more. There’s a lot on our plate. I have things planned for myself career-wise.”
Rumours do make everyone sad and things are no different for celebrities as well. But Vivek Dahiya tries to maintain a positive approach when it comes to handling rumours. He had shared in an interview, “I take it very positively. I think all these people who’re concerned about us have become one big family. You know how there are people in your family... your dadis and your aunts... speculating about when shall we have a baby? [Fans] are almost as close to us as our family. They’ve been part of our journey from the start and they know exactly, step by step, about how we came together. They all do it in good faith and with lots of love.” He also added that his fans motivate him on dull days and he reads their messages to get pumped up. He remarked, “Some of [the fans] are really helpful. On a bad, discouraging day, they’d really motivate you. I’d read their posts and get so pumped up. It’s a great feeling.”
In a throwback 2016 DNA interview with Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and Vivek Dahiya, the actress and her star hubby had revealed lots of interesting things about their relationship. Sharing how they felt that they were the one for each other, the Qayamat Ki Raat actor had then shared, “When a co-actor suggested that Divyanka and I should meet as both of us were single, my first reaction was 'What!' I had never thought of having an arranged marriage because I feel in today's times you need to take your time, know a person and not rush into it. But he insisted that we at least go for a coffee and we did. We had met with the perspective of seeing other as a life partner and in the first meeting itself I was largely convinced that she is the one for me. Speaking of their marriage, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya had earlier shared in an interview, “Any marriage doesn’t run on its own. It needs constant polishing for smooth functioning. So, I keep my partner and my family aware that they are my priority. My mind is constantly scheduling and re-scheduling things according to my shoot and my spouse. I plan in advance for holidays so that we all get to spend quality time together. We keep the communication channels open so that there’s little space for confusions.”
