Indian cricketer, Virat Kohli and his love for his wifey and actress, Anushka Sharma is known to all. But not many know that Virat had once 'randomly'' picked Anushka as his bride in a Swayamvar, which was conducted by Shah Rukh Khan in the year 2014. It is said that some couples are just 'meant to be', Anushka and Virat are perfect exemplars of the same. They had first met each other while shooting for a commercial and had fallen in love. After dating each other for quite some time, in the year 2017, they had made their relationship official by tying the knot.

Recently, we stumbled upon a rare video from the year 2014 from the opening ceremony of the Indian Premier League. In the video, Shah Rukh was hosting the ceremony and he had called Virat on the stage. The actor had asked the cricketer what kind of girl he wanted to marry. To this, the cricketer had said that she should have nice hair, big eyes, a homely girl etc. SRK had started picking out cards with women's faces on them but Virat didn't like any of them. In January 2021, Virat and Anushka had left their coupledom and had happily embraced their parenthood journey. On March 11, 2021, the duo's little girl had completed two months, and Anushka had shared a glimpse of how they had celebrated the milestone. Anushka had shared an IG story of a yummy rainbow-top cake with cute clouds on it. Atop which, she had written, "Happy 2 months to us!"
On the occasion of Women's Day, Virat had shared a picture of the two most important women in his life, Anushka and his daughter, Vamika. Alongside it, he had written, "Seeing the birth of a child is the most spine chilling, unbelievable and amazing experience a human being can have. After witnessing that, you understand the true strength and divinity of women and why God created life inside them. It's because they are way stronger than us men. It's because they are way stronger than us men. Happy Women's Day to the most fiercely, compassionate and strong woman of my life and to the one who's going to grow up to be like her mother. On February 1, 2021, Anushka had shared the first-ever family picture on her Instagram handle. In the picture, we could see Anushka holding her daughter while Virat was adorably looking at her. Along with it, Anushka had shared her daughter's unique name in the caption, which could be read as "We have lived together with love, presence and gratitude as a way of life but this little one, Vamika has taken it to a whole new level! Tears, laughter, worry, bliss emotions that have been experienced in a span of minutes sometimes. Sleep is elusive but our hearts are SO full. Thanking you all for your wishes, prayers and good energy."
