We cannot forget Virat and Anushka's fairytale wedding. In many interviews, the dashing cricketer, Virat had revealed that the whole destination wedding was planned single-handedly by his loving wife, Anushka. The lovebirds had set couple goals for our entire generation when they had decided to marry at the peak of their careers.
Recently, in an interaction with teammate, Mayank Agarwal for his show Open Nets with Mayank, Virat talked about the highlight of the lockdown. He revealed that he had baked a cake for his wife, Anuhska's birthday and shared, "I baked a cake for the first time in my life on Anushka's birthday, so that will be a standout quarantine story for me. I had never done baking in my life, and I was able to do it properly in my first attempt. She told me that she loved the cake and it was very special."
In the same interview, Virat also shared that if he had not met Anushka, he would have not changed. He said, "I give Anushka full credit for making me see a different side of things altogether. I'm so grateful that Anushka is my life partner as she made me realise a lot of things that are to do with the larger picture." He further added, "My responsibility as a player, my responsibility with who I am today, what that brings along with it. Setting an example for people in the right manner. All these things have come from Anushka. If I hadn't met Anushka I might not have changed as I was not an open person and was very rigid and she's made me change as a person for good." Virat never misses a chance to surprise his wife, Anushka. On the other hand, Anushka always supports her 'darling hubby'. On May 1, 2020, Virat had taken to his Instagram handle and had shared a cute picture from his wife's birthday celebration. In the picture, we could see the cute husband feeding a piece of cake to his wife, Anushka. Virat was dressed in his casual best, while Anushka had radiated birthday glow in a white dress. Alongside it, the cricketer had written, "You, my love bring light into this world. And you light up my world everyday. I love you".
