Famous television actress, Vaishali Takkar left millions of her fans heartbroken after she committed suicide on October 16, 2022. The news of Vaishali's sudden demise by suicide left the nation in shock. She was found hanging at her home in Indore. A suicide note was also discovered near her, whose photos have surfaced on the internet, and it bares testimony to the intolerable pain, which was endured by the actress.
For the unversed, Vaishali Takkar rose to fame with her acting stint in the show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. She was also known for portraying the role of Anjali Bharadwaj in Sasural Simar Ka. The actress was living in her home in Indore since last year. According to reports, she was all set to return to Mumbai post-Diwali.

According to Indore police, Vaishali took the decision to end her life at around 12:30 pm. The suicide note, which has surfaced on the internet, reveals that the actress was being harassed by a neighbour, Rahul Navlani, who is now missing. She also expressed her love for her parents and asked them to be happy. She wrote in her suicide note:
"I Quit Maa. Love you Papa Maa. Please forgive me, I wan not successful in being your good daugther. Please get Rahul and his family punished. Rahul and Disha tourtured me mentally for 2.5 years. I will not get peace if they are not punished. Tell Mitesh to forgive me. I Quit"
In an interview with the ANI, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Moti-ur-Rehman revealed that Vaishali's neighbour used to harass her, and because of this, she took an extreme step. He also added that Vaishali was about to get married, but Rahul kept troubling her about that. He was quoted saying:
"Rahul was Vaishali's neighbour, and the suicide note indicates that he used to harass Vaishali, because of which she took such an extreme step. She was about to get married to another man, and Rahul troubled her for that. The police are currently investigating the case. Rahul is currently not at his residence and has fled after locking his house. Police are currently locating Rahul, after that he will be questioned."
