Divya and Varun have been best friends, but on the reality show, Ace of Space, which was hosted by Vikas Gupta. The couple had entered the show as just 'friends' but eventually, they had fallen in love with each other. And when Varun had proposed her on the reality show, Divya without a second thought had said ‘yes'.
On September 14, 2020, Varun took to his Instagram handle and shared a super cute picture with the love of his life, Divya. In the picture, we can see Divya grinning for the camera while Varun adorably looked at her. Alongside the picture, Varun wrote, "My strength", followed by a heart emoji. Check it out:
The best part about Divya and Varun's relationship is that they have always been vocal about it. In a joint interview with ETimes, Divya and Varun had revealed their parents' reaction on their decision of moving in together. Varun had shared that his parents were happy about his decision and had said, "My parents were damn chill. Before this, I was living in Delhi. So when I told them I am going to Mumbai, they said, ‘Toh Mumbai me sambhal lega?’ I told them Divya is there and they were like ‘Oh, then it’s fine’. My mom and dad were very chill about this." However, Divya had found it hard to reveal to her parents that she was planning to move-in with her boyfriend, Varun. The actress had shared, "For me, breaking this news to my parents was really difficult because I stay in Mumbai (Navi Mumbai) with my parents. For 12 years, I have been travelling from New Mumbai to Mumbai for work and every small things. So when Varun was shifting to Mumbai, I just couldn’t leave him alone here. I didn’t want to just meet him and come back home."
She had further added, "I slowly started shifting my things to his place. Out of the blue, a week later I told my mom that it is getting difficult for me because of the travelling. And she was like, “For 12 years, you didn’t have any problem and now you are having a problem.” And I told her that I have done up and down for 12 years and don’t want to do it anymore. And thankfully, Varun ka number 1 fan is my dad. My dad loves him more than anybody in the family. So agar Varun jaisa ladka hai Divya ke saath hai toh papa is more than happy to think that I am in safe hands."
