If the reports are to be believed, Varun Dhawan and his childhood sweetheart, Natasha Dala's marriage was on the cards after the release of his much-awaited film, Coolie No. 1, this summer. But the lockdown drowned out those dreams! Earlier in February this year, Varun and his family were spotted visiting the Dalal residence, carrying gift bags and his overenthusiastic fans had let their 'imagination run wild'. However, the actor had shut down the speculations of a secret roka ceremony and had tweeted, "Hey guys before u let ur imagination run wild it was a birthday party, wanted to clarify before any false news is spread cheers."

In an interview with BollywoodLife, Varun Dhawan had acknowledged his relationship with Natasha Dalal and had said, "Where I and Natasha are concerned, I think, eventually, after we get married, we are together all that stuff, she has to, she has her individuality." Praising Natasha for having a sense of individuality, Varun had continued and had talked about his individuality. He had added, "That's why I'm with her because she has her individuality, she has her voice which is super strong with things she wants to do and things she wants to achieve in life. And, as her partner, that is something I want to support, you know. And, she has been so supportive where my career is concerned, always, from day one."
