Motherhood, a journey of love and self-discovery, is one of the most beautiful feelings a woman can ever experience. However, it does not always come naturally. Sometimes a person has to go through a lot to welcome a baby into their life. Actress, Vandana Sajnani Khattar’s life is a testament to this. After 3 miscarriages, 3 IVFs, 3 IUIs, and 3 surrogacy failures, Vandana and her husband, Rajesh Khattar, were blessed with a baby boy after 11 years of marriage. Their journey, though challenging, is a celebration of the beauty of motherhood. However, recently, Vandana shared a spine-chilling experience of her baby's delivery.
Vandana Sajnani embraced motherhood in her 40s after several attempts and miscarriages. So, talking about the same, Debina called her son a miracle baby. Reflecting on her journey, Vandana shared that she conceived early in life, but after five months, she suffered a miscarriage. She was soon rushed to the hospital, where the doctor shared the bad news with her.
Therein, Vandana shared that she was adamant that she wanted to deliver her baby irrespective of whether it was alive or dead. However, the doctor tried to convince her that it may be harmful to her health as the baby had died in her womb, but she did not budge. So she delivered her baby normally. She said that at that time, she was scared that she would never conceive again, which is why she did what she did.
For Vandana and her husband, Rajesh, it was one of the happiest news of their lives, that they welcomed their miracle baby after multiple failed trials. However, there were people who trolled the couple brutally for their decision to embrace parenthood at such an age. In a conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Vandana Sajnani Khatter shared her trolling experience and how she dealt with it. Recalling how people judged them and passed nasty remarks, Vandana shared:
“I started seeing a lot of troll messages. People writing, ‘Bohot chul hai. Dada, Dadi Bache ke saath ghum rahe hain. Umar toh dekhi hai kya, Dadaji bache ko lekar ghum rahe.’”
Vandana also mentioned that people compare her son, Yuvaan with her step-son, Ishaan. She added, “People compare Ishaan and Yuvaan, but their age bracket is so different, they write such nasty comments.” Sharing how she deals with trolls and how age really doesn’t matter, she continued, “I laugh it off, but I’m going to talk about it someday. It is very important to convey to the people that age really does not matter. If they see Rajesh holding the baby, they say, ‘Dadaji aa gaye bache ko leke.’ It is so nasty. Of course, Rajesh and I have a 10-year age difference, but that doesn’t mean people should write such comments.”
