Bollywood actress, Urvashi Rautela has already made a name for herself with her outstanding acting skills and fashion sense. However, she keeps hitting the headlines with her lavish lifestyle, linkups with cricketers and controversies related to her dumb answers. Once again, the actress reacted to the ongoing controversy about Indian actress, Sonali Kulkarni's comment on Indian women, whom she has reportedly called lazy. However, a section of netizens did not like Urvashi's answer, and they slammed her for the same.
On March 25, 2023, Urvashi Rautela was asked about her reaction to Sonali Kulkarni’s comment. To this, she replied that the notion didn't fit her as she was an outsider. Moreover, she pointed out how she is the only Indian to win Miss Universe twice and was also the youngest judge on the panel of judges on the Miss Universe board. Thus, mentioning that Sonali's comment doesn't apply to her, she said:
“The thing is that this doesn’t apply to me. You already know I am an outsider. And everybody knows how hard I work. I have made my career in Bollywood and globally people know about me. I am the only Indian who won Miss Universe twice, and I am the youngest judge to judge Miss Universe. So this doesn’t apply to me but applies to those velleis out there. I don’t want to hurt anybody”.

As soon as the video was posted on social media, netizens reacted to Urvashi's comment. A section of society wasn't happy with her comment and trolled her for the same. While one netizen mentioned that Urvashi's answer has no connection to what was asked. Another one judged her based on her knowledge. The user also cited a hilarious example of the Russia-Ukraine war. Check out the comments:
It was during an interview with Bhupenddra Singh Rathore, who runs the popular YouTube channel, CoachBSR, when Sonali Kulkarni was heard saying, “A large chunk of women only care about getting a well-earning boyfriend or husband, instead of standing up for themselves and creating their own identity”. As soon as the clip was broadcasted, she was massively criticised for her comments on Indian women. She was also trolled for being sexist and derogatory towards women. Thus, soon after the controversy, on March 18, 2023, she had taken to her IG handle and cleared the meaning of her statement. However, Sonali's clip is still going viral on social media.

Well, this wasn't the first time when Urvashi was trolled for her choices. Earlier, when she had shared her birthday pictures on her IG handle on February 28, 2023, she was trolled. The actress was called ‘fake’ and ‘AI generated’ based on her 29th birthday bash pictures. In the pictures, she wore a blue-hued midi halter neck dress featuring a mirror work top and a sheer bodice. However, her look was not liked by the netizens. While some compared her to a prop from Rohit Shetty’s film, others pointed out the number of plastic surgeries she had done earlier. On the work front, Urvashi Rautela was last seen in the science fiction action film, The Legend, which was directed by the filmmaker duo, J. D. Sami and Jerald Arockiam.
