And when it was announced that she has participated in the show with Anuj Sachdeva, the curiosity about their relationship has reached to another level. Ek Dil Hai, Ek Jaan Hai, Dono Tujhpe, Dono Tujhpe Qurbaan Hain, Ek Main Hoon, Ek Imaan Hai, Dono Tujhpe Haan Tujhpe, Dono Tujhpe Qurbaan Hain… The moment we have all been waiting for had finally arrived on the second episode of Nach Baliye 9 as Urvashi Dholakia and Anuj Sachdeva had set the stage on fire, quite literally with their first performance. With the sensuous moves and sizzling chemistry, this ex-couple proved to be a tough competition to the others.
While their Ek Dil Ek Jaan performance was loved by everyone, even the judges, Urvashi Dholakia and Anuj Sachdeva’s hug and forehead kiss had made everyone forget the (e)x-factor in their relationship status. However, looks like it has happened yet again and this time around, Anuj seems to have not liked how Urvashi tried to explain him a step during their rehearsal after multiple failed attempts. If a Pinkvilla report is to be believed, that did not go down quite well with Anuj and Urvashi.
In an interview with BollywoodLife sometime back, happily single and a mother of two, Urvashi Dholakia had spoken about remarriage. She had exclaimed, “Of course why not! Just because there's one bad apple in the basket doesn't mean other apples are bad. If you think you are compatible with someone why not." Does this mean that Urvashi is seriously considering marriage in the near future? She had continued, "I have never thought about it.” Urvashi also shared if she is at par with the idea of remarriage and shared, “Everyone keeps asking me, but I don't have time out of work. I'm too pre-occupied with my life. I live in a bubble, and I'm so happy in that bubble of mine. One can never know, if it happens, it happens. What's the point of saying a yes or a no now?"
In an interview with the IANS, Urvashi Dholakia had talked about any possibilities that might bring her and ex, Anuj Sachdeva together, given that they are spending a lot of time on the sets of Nach Baliye. She had shared, "If a chapter is over, it is not necessary to reopen those pages. Why not start a new chapter and build a new relation? I believe two people who were in a relationship can remain good friends. Urvashi Dholakia had further added, “I am not in my twenties, so I do think a little differently now. I believe in mature living and don't like to hold grudges. Sometimes you have to move on to find happiness in life. That's what I did. I am participating in the show with my ex but it does not mean that I am giving a second chance to the relationship. One has to understand that I come from a different school of thought.”
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Sabki Laadli Bebo fame, Anuj Sachdeva had revealed why he said yes to Nach Baliye 9, what is he looking forward to the most on the show and how much time he took to give a nod. When asked, “What has been the major reason for you to say yes?” Anuj had retorted, “I started my career with a reality show, Roadies. I was itching to do another reality show where I would get to learn something new. Since I have never been a dancer, this was a challenge worth taking up.”
Given that the theme of Nach Baliye 9 is slightly different from the earlier ones, Anuj Sachdeva had revealed how much time did he take to give a nod. He had stated, “Well, it did take some thinking. But then I was like as Urvashi and I have been friends for years it was comfortable to say yes. Also, I did not think too much about the theme or what people would decipher, I just wanted to do a dance show simple as that.”
Anuj Sachdeva was then asked about what is he looking forward to the most on this Nach Baliye 9 journey, given that he has participated with his ex, and what according to him will be the strength and weak point of Uruj (Urvashi and Anuj’s hashtag on the show). Anuj had remarked, “To become a fabulous dancer. I want people to say by the end of my journey in NB that "Boy! Anuj can dance!" Our weak point as a couple is that we are both non-dancers. Strength is we are both extremely hard-working and dedicated to our craft.” Revealing his reaction when he was told about the theme of this season, Anuj had said, “I thought it's interesting.
