We stumbled upon an unseen picture of Saif and Kareena with baby Tim, from one of their family vacations. Just like every other photograph of Kareena, Saif and Taimur, this picture of them also managed to top the trending charts on the internet. Saif Ali Khan’s sister, Soha Ali Khan, who is an actress-turned-author, published her first book, The Perils Of Being Moderately Famous in early 2018. In her book, she shared an unseen picture from Kareena and Saif’s wedding. Sharmila Tagore, Soha Ali Khan, Saba Ali Khan are happily posing with the newly-weds, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan. Joining the perfect family picture are Saif’s kids from his first wife Amrita Singh, Sara and Ibrahim, and they were all smiles for the camera.
Kareena and Saif met on the sets of Tashan in 2008, and love blossomed between them during that time. Stating the same, Kareena said, “I unabashedly wore my heart on my sleeve and it was a nice ride till I finally met Saif and we fell in love.” And as a romantic gesture, Saif tattooed Kareena’s name in Hindi on his left arm. Speaking about the same, he had stated, “We were in the car one afternoon in Bandra, talking about David Beckham. He went on to say, “And then the tattoo came up, and I said, ‘Maybe I should get one on my shoulder, would it look cool?’ And [Kareena] said, ‘Why shoulder? Put it on your arm.’ I thought, ‘Maybe a nice K?’ and she said, ‘That’s a bit ambiguous.’” Saif and Kareena’s marriage became the wedding of the year in 2012 as they sealed the deal with a week-long celebration.
In a throwback interview, Saif was quoted as saying, “When two actors are in a relationship, no matter what the intention is, there is a great deal of uncertainty. Our wedding resolved that. For me, it is very important to feel calm about the person I am with, and not distracted or worried. If one is happy at home, it shows on one’s face, and in one’s work. Kareena has made me feel secure about our relationship, so I am happy being with her.”
He had also said, “She has been a good influence on me, and inspires me to get things right—whether it’s being disciplined about fitness and food, or how much to party. We share a healthy equation of likes and dislikes.” Kareena also shares an amicable bond with Saif kids, Sara and Ibrahim and considers Sara as her best friend.
Bebo stated in an interview, "We're like best friends. Saif refuses to come out with us. She's my bar hopping partner. I enjoy my equation with her." She further continued, "It's pretty amazing, they have a wonderful mother. They are the most well-brought-up children. I always remember Sara standing up and doing adab. Both Sara and Ibrahim are like that. I am like a friend for them. At times me and Sara chat over a glass of champagne. That's the way Saif wanted and that's the way I wanted it. Whenever she wants to call me she does at time when Saif isn't around and she doesn't want to talk to him. She talks to me.”
On December 20, 2016, Kareena gave birth to Taimur Ali Khan, who became a sensation on his first day in the world. Sharing that Taimur is the most special thing in their lives, Kareena remarked, “There are a lot of responsibilities on you once you become a mother. You feel that your heart is not beating inside you, but outside your body, and that is the biggest responsibility. Both me and Saif always wanted this. We used to talk about all these things.
