On October 8, 2020, Twinkle took to her Instagram handle and posted a couple of candid pictures with her kids. In the monochrome pictures, we can see Aarav and Nitara lying on a mat with their mother, Twinkle and were sharing some laughs. Twinkle often shares glimpses of her life with her crazy munchkins. She had once shared dinner pictures cooked by her teenage son, Aarav. Along with the pictures of her dinner and dessert, she had written, "My teenager makes us dinner and dessert all by himself. On the menu- mushroom risotto, miso avocado salad, chicken skewers and chocolate souffle. #proudmomma." A couple of days ago, she had a cooking face-off with her son, wherein her son had made a yummy cake, while she had made coffee. Alongside it, she had written, "Today as I am prepping for a cook-off with a recipe from our What’s In Your Dabba. I wish I could send my son to do my bit instead. On September 15, 2020, Twinkle's little boy, Aarav had turned into a 'man' as he had celebrated his 18th birthday. The actress had shared a picture of his birthday celebration on her Instagram handle. Alongside it, Twinkle had written, "Happy 18th birthday Aarav! Here is something I had written for you once and to keep loosening the strings and finally cutting them off this year has not been easy. All these years you have been as much my teacher as I have been yours. I learned optimism, kindness and wonder from you as I taught you maths, a few manners and how to switch the lights off when you leave the room. But looking at you growing up and listening to you repeatedly tell me how much you are looking forward to your independence, I have started realizing that when you finally leave my home, my world and step into your own, my lights will go off automatically and my world will be filled with a bleak darkness. During the lockdown, Twinkle had given a glimpse of how her daughter, Nitara had turned into a makeup artist. She had posted a picture of herself and had shared how her daughter, Nitara is the best makeup artist and could even give a competition to the ace makeup artist, Namrata Soni.
