In the 90s when ladies were busy doing the household chores and the idea of a working woman was a myth, the queen of soap operas in India, Ekta Kapoor has made it possible with her shows that was full of drama. While we make fun of them and call it saas-bahu ka rona, it was a source of entertainment for the ladies of the house and strangely they owned the remote control back in those times. Currently, Ekta is enjoying every second of being a working mom.
On June 7, 2020, Ekta Kapoor turned a year older and her brother, Tusshar Kapoor took to his Instagram handle to share a lovely wish for the superwoman. He posted a picture of Ekta with her son, Ravie, and wrote, "Happy birthday passionate mom, doting daughter, loving sister, loyal friend and incredible bua! Recently, in an interview with Pinkvilla, Tusshar Kapoor had opened up on sibling rivalry. He shared how his sister, Ekta's success never really bothered him and had shared, "It never really bothered me because we were in different career paths, she is a producer and I am an actor. There were some years when her work was successful and then there were some years when mine was. For example, when Golmaal would come out, there would be a hit in the family, we would celebrate that as well. We have both had our shares of ups and lulls. In an interview with the IANS, Tusshar had talked about their bond and had said, "As a kid, I used to fight a lot with Ekta. Since our age difference is not that much, we would fight on everything... whether it is games, watching TV and all the small things siblings fight on. We used to share the same room. But I think after we started working, and with time, we both are mature now. She is a very intelligent producer and very passionate about her work."
