Television actress, Tunisha Sharma’s suicide case is taking new turns every day as the investigation is gaining momentum. After the 20-year-old actress committed suicide on December 24, 2022, her ex-boyfriend, Sheezan Khan had been taken into custody on the charges of abetment to suicide. And now, as per the latest reports, Tunisha had a brief chat with Sheezan moments before she committed suicide.
As per the reports of ANI, the Waliv Police stated that they had sought an extension for Sheezan’s police custody as the actor has not revealed any details of his conversation with the late actress. The official also stated that whenever he is asked about the conversation, the actor starts crying and avoids answering the same. Stating that Tunisha spoke to Sheezan moments before committing suicide, the Waliv Police stated:
“Accused Sheezan Khan is not cooperating with the police in the investigation. The probe has revealed that the deceased had a conversation with the accused Sheezan Khanshortly before hanging.”

As per a report by NDTV, Sheezan Khan was talking to another woman on WhatsApp and allegedly deleted the conversation. As per the report:
“250 pages of WhatsApp chats from Sheezan's mobile phone which will be studied and further analyzed. The cops have written to WhatsApp to retrieve all of Sheezan's chats with another ex-girlfriend and are probing why he deleted the messages.”
As per Tunisha Sharma’s uncle Pawan Sharma, Tunisha had changed a lot after she began dating actor, Sheezan Khan. He urged the police to investigate the case from all angles as he noticed his niece’s behaviour changed as she started wearing a hijab. In his words:
“Today, the police submitted in court that Sheezan had relations with other women as well. They should probe Tunisha’s death from all possible angles. Many things about Tunisha had changed after meeting Sheezan, she had started wearing a hijab.”

It was on December 24, 2022, when Tunisha Sharma ended her life. The actress was reportedly under depression after her breakup with actor, Sheezan Khan and took the drastic step. As per the police officials, the actress went to the washroom on the sets of her show, Ali Baba: Dastaan-e-Kabul and did not return for a long time. When the door was broken, she was found hanging. No suicide note was recovered, and the post-mortem reports confirmed that the actress died due to suffocation.
The Vasai court extended the police custody of Sheezan Khan by two days.
