It was nothing but the love and presence of our families that kept us going through the lockdown phase. In the year 2020, life had put Sanjay Dutt and his family to yet another test as he was diagnosed with cancer and just how we were sure that he will emerge through it as a winner, he did! It was on his twins, Shahraan Dutt and Iqra Dutt’s birthday when Sanjay had announced his victory in the battle with cancer. Sanjay had shared a note, an excerpt of which could be read as “The last few weeks were very difficult time for my family and me. But like they say, God gives the hardest battles to the strongest soldiers. And today, on the occasion of my kid’s birthday, I am happy to come out victorious from this battle and be able to give them the best gift I can- the health and well being of our family.” On which, his proud daughter, Trishala Dutt had commented, “So proud of you dad”. His wife, Maanayata Dutt too, had sent love through his post.
A while back, Trishala Dutt posted a candid picture of herself, posing in her kitchen wearing a blue sweater with denim. Revealing where she has spent most of her 2020, Trishala captioned her post as “Where I spent most of my 2020...... in case you were wondering #inthekitchen.” On her post, her step-mother, Maanayata Dutt commented, “Beautiful” followed by heart emoticons. Trishala indeed looked beautiful in her long tresses, which she had let loose and her minimal makeup with kohled-eyes and sparkling lip gloss.
Trishala Dutt is the granddaughter of late veteran actors, Sunil Dutt and Nargis Dutt, and she often shares posts on her IG handle, expressing her love for them. Do you remember the song, Ichak Daana, which you might have heard from your parents or grandparents? A song that makes us nostalgic and reminds us of the beautiful smile of Nargis, which captivated the hearts of her million fans. Sanjay Dutt’s daughter, Trishala too, was hit with nostalgia sometime back as she had watched the song on television and remembered her beautiful grandmother, Nargis. That wasn’t the first time when Trishala Dutt had posted a ‘miss you’ or ‘love you’ note for her late grandparents. In January, Trishala had posted a ‘priceless’ throwback picture with her ‘dadaji’, Sunil Dutt. Sharing the picture, Trishala had written, “#priceless Dadaji” followed by a heart emoji. To which, Sanjay Dutt’s wife and Trishala’s step-mom, Maanayata Dutt had commented with an array of heart emojis.
Just how the Tinseltown promotes the concept of a modern family equating it with love and respect, the Dutt clan also gives some major goals!
