There is no doubt that Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani are an inspiration to millions and have reinstated our faith in marriage. Do you know that Mukesh had proposed Nita in a filmy way? Yes, Mukesh had popped the question to Nita when they were driving on a busy Peddar Road. Nita had happily said ‘yes’ but with a condition. Her condition was to continue her work post marriage and Mukesh had no qualms to it. Well, Isn’t it adorable? Nita is an inspiration to all the working woman as she is the perfect example of woman power.
On March 8, 2021, Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani completed 36-years of marital bliss. And to wish them, Tina Ambani penned an adorable wish for her jeth and jethani. Tina took to her IG handle and posted two adorable pictures of the lovely couple. Along with the pictures, Tina wrote, “Cheers to a couple who complement and complete each other to perfection! While you enjoy this wonderful new chapter of grandparenting, here’s wishing you a lifetime of health, happiness and togetherness. Happy anniversary Nita and Mukesh.”
Last year, on their 35th anniversary, Tina Ambani had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a beautiful anniversary wish for them. She had posted a monochrome picture of Nita and Mukesh, and had written, "Happy anniversary to a couple who always bring out the best in each other! Wish you love and happiness always." Coming back to their love story, the couple had gotten married in the year 1985 when Nita was just 20-years-old. The first shining lady of the Ambani’s had nurtured her family with love and care. In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Nita had talked about her husband, Mukesh and had said, "Mukesh has always believed in my convictions and stood by me in all my projects. He inspires and encourages me to do my best. As husband and wife, as parents to our children, we always nurtured a mutually appreciative and sharing approach. Our dreams have grown from the life philosophy of partnership while having the freedom to express each one’s point of view and being able to empathise with each other. For us, all the dreams are joint dreams, they are our family dreams, with the children also inspiring and influencing every element of our dreams. We would like it to be that way always."
Nita had further shared that it is a pleasure for her to being referred to as Mukesh Ambani's wife. She had said, "I would prefer to be referred to as the life partner of one of India's foremost visionaries with an indomitable spirit. Mukesh is getting busier with the next level of business transformation of our company and through it, facilitating the country's transition to becoming an economic superpower. I am happy to be able to support him in whichever way I can. I think my work speaks for my identity. I believe excellence follows best effort. From childhood, my parents motivated me to give 100 per cent to everything we did. Mukesh has always been my backbone, supporting and encouraging me to do my best in my areas of passion. I must say my children also encourage me to pursue my passions and projects with full steam."
