Today, on May 22, 2019, Suhana Khan turns 19 and an array of industry celebs have already started pouring in their heartfelt wishes to this star kid. Suhana Khan’s bestie, Shanaya Kapoor’s mother, Maheep Kapoor took to Instagram and posted a series of archived pictures from Suhana’s childhood and teenage, along with a heartfelt note. Even her bestie, Ananya Panday too, had posted a throwback picture, which she teamed with a heartfelt note, all for the last year as a teenager, birthday lady!
Maheep Kapoor’s throwback pictures consisted of many memories from their throwback days which had all the mommies along with their juniors having the most of their ‘galore time’. Her heartfelt wish could be read as, “Happppy birthday my love! Wish you the most magical year ever #BirthdayGirl #WeLoveYouLoads #Sweetest @suhanakhan2 #ShineBrightLittleGirl.” Remember when Ananya Panday had shared in an interview that they have a WhatsApp group named ‘Charlie’s Angels’ (group members comprising of Ananya, Shanaya and Suhana)? Well, the birthday picture and wish that Ananya posted for Suhana, has a actual glimpse of the same! Yes, while her birthday wish could be read as, “Happiest bday to my littlest baby with the biggest heart. In June 2018, we had shared with you, a throwback black-and-white picture, wherein Shah Rukh Khan was seen planting a kiss on the lips of a 3-year-old Suhana Khan who was looking upto her father, while mommy Gauri seems to be engrossed with something. The picture was reportedly taken during the shooting of Shah Rukh’s megahit movie, Kabhie Khushi Kabhi Gham. The picture served as a sheer exemplar of how beautiful a father and daughter relationship is all about. Last year, on Suhana’s birthday the adorable daddy, Shah Rukh Khan had shared a picture of ‘soaring’ Suhana Khan along with a beautiful caption. The doting daddy had written, “Like all daughters, I knew you were always meant for flying...and now u can also legally do what u have been doing since u were 16...!! In a throwback interview, Shah Rukh Khan's wife, Gauri Khan was asked about the consequences if Suhana Khan happens to date a struggling actor and wishes to marry him. To this Gauri had replied, “Shah Rukh would catch hold of him and make him sit and bore him to death. He would ask him so many questions and teach him how to act. He would get fed-up and run away!" She had further shared, “For him losing his parents at such a young age, Shah Rukh wants to spoil them. He wants to give them everything. He spoils them rotten, I can't do anything. I just have to sit back and complain, like a complaint box."
Shah Rukh Khan, being quite a liberal dad had once, spoken about Suhana Khan and acting. In an interview with the DNA, he had shared, “I’d like her (Suhana) to be on the cover of magazines like all my heroines are, wear any kind of clothes she wants to wear, and look sexy and beautiful. I want her to feel attractive, beautiful and respected, and more importantly, I want her to work hard. I have only one mandate where she’s concerned: she can act, but she has to study first.”
In a 2018 interview with Vogue, Suhana Khan spoke about embracing fame since childhood. She had stated, “I realised quite early on that it was different for us. But I never really thought about my dad being famous. When I was about five, he would come and drop me to school, and people would point and stare. He wasn’t being addressed as Suhana’s dad, which is what I wanted. It confused me. He would want to hug me, and I would push him back in the car.
