This Bride And Her Groom Wore Matching Blush Pink Ensembles For Their Wedding Day

For every girl, her wedding is a fairytale affair! After all, the journey of being a bride is not at all easy. We have to leave our parents' home where we have lived forever to create our new life with a new set of parents, siblings and a husband. While the thought scares us, it is the happiest feeling to turn into a bride. And since the age of six, we have all made a huge list of 'do's and don'ts' for our wedding day. We rewind this dream zillion times in our head and like 'Geet' from Jab We Met (2007), we too anxiously wait for our big day. (Recommend Read: This Bride Wore Anushka Sharma's Red Saree From Delhi Reception For Her Wedding But With A Twist)

Over the years, the wedding world has evolved and so has the bridal fashion. The brides are ditching the traditional red ensembles and opting for unconventional colours. When it comes to grooms outfits for the D-day, they are also giving their 'better-halves' a tough competition. So, whether you are looking for an intimate wedding or a big fat celebration, nothing is off-limits. And recently, we spotted a bride and a groom, who had donned matching blush pink ensembles for their wedding day.

Meet our gorgeous bride of the week, Amar, who had tied the knot with the man of her dreams, Hiren. The couple has given us inspiration on how to ace the matching ensembles trend on the wedding day. Yes, our beautiful and dashing groom had donned exactly same blush pink traditional ensembles for their day wedding. And oh boy, we are crushing on their look! Before, we take you further into the story, let us take a look at what they wore on their pre-wedding ceremonies.

For her engagement ceremony, Amar had opted for a golden lehenga with embellishment all over it. She had kept her look subtle with naturally highlighted makeup and wavy long tresses. She had ditched statement jewellery for the ceremony. (Also Read: This Curvy Bride Donned A Pretty Pastel Pink Lehenga With Double Dupatta, Giving Us Styling Lessons)

The bride had gotten married twice, first according to Sikh rituals in Gurudwara and then in a traditional Hindu ceremony. We spotted her beautiful mehendi design and it had a portrait of a bride and groom.

For her haldi ceremony, the bride had picked a white sleeveless suit with yellow dupatta which was perfect for the ceremony. She had completed her look with braided hair. Later, she quickly changed into a rani pink lehenga with strappy blouse for her chooda ceremony.

For Anand Karaj ceremony, the bride had picked a traditional red lehenga with golden embroidery all over it and a matching dupatta. She had accessorised her look with a polki choker, a long neckpiece, a nath and a maang teeka. On the other hand, her groom had worn a bandhgala sherwani with a red turban and a golden stole.

For the Hindu ceremony, the bride had opted for a classy blush pink lehenga with a princess-cut blouse and a sheer dupatta carefully tucked in her hair with floral adornments. For the accessory, our bride had picked the most unique choker neckpiece, statement earrings and a maang teeka. On the other hand, her groom gave her a tough competition by opting for an exactly matching blush-pink sherwani. His look was accentuated with the statement pearl mala.
