We are talking about Tere Mere Sapne fame, Ekta Tiwari. She was also seen in Diya Aur Baati Hum. The actress recently got engaged to her long time beau, Sushant Kandya.
The couple exchanged the rings on June 14, 2017 in an intimate ceremony, attended only by the family members.
Sushant is also an actor by profession. The couple met on the sets of crime-drama series, Crime Patrol and fell in love. Talking about the same, the happily engaged Ekta said:
"We did back-to-back seven episodes opposite each other in Crime Patrol, and before we realised we were in love. Nobody had to propose anyone, and even this engagement happened quite suddenly, it wasn't even planned. We are really happy and looking forward to a great life.”

Talking about the marriage plans, the actress further added:
“About marriage, I can only say, if we don’t get married till January-February, we’ll again leave it to the destiny. It’ll happen when it is meant to happen."
Not many know that before getting engaged to Sushant, she engaged to another actor in 2012 and was also about to get married to him. She was engaged to actor, Aashutosh Tiwari. In a previous interview, Ekta talked about her engagement to Aashutosh and said:
"Yes,we are getting engaged. It is a roka ceremony that will take place at Aashutosh's place in Kanpur. We met when I was shooting for Tere Mere Sapne and he was doing Bhagonwali - Baante Apni Taqdeer. We were good friends.My parents met and decided that we will should take our relationship to the next level. We might get married next year in Jan."
The relationship soon ended for unknown reasons and Aashutosh went on to marry a girl named Prerna. But, that is all past! Ekta is happily engaged now!
