Karanvir Bohra’s wife-actress-host, Teejay Sidhu is in the news for standing up for her lovely husband. For the ones who don’t know, Dil Se Di Dua... Saubhagyavati Bhava? star, Karanvir Bohra is locked up inside the Bigg Boss 12 house. During every Weekend Ka Vaar, Karanvir was made fun of his wearing style, hairstyle and a lot more. At first, his wife considered it to be a light-hearted joke and fun, but this time after the last WKW on November 11, 2018, it didn’t go well with Teejay due to the constant ridiculing made at Karanvir.
To share her thoughts, Teejay took to her official social media handle and wrote a long (like literally long on!) open letter. She captioned her post as, “It's okay to joke around and tease someone, but there comes a point when a person may be feeling genuinely upset. He may smile, but it doesn't mean he's happy, it just means he is trying not to show his pain. @karanvirbohra #BiggBoss12”. The excerpt from the open letter could be read as, “Respected Bigg Boss team, I saw the Sunday Weekend Ka War and wanted to share some thoughts with you. First of all, I don’t know if myself and Karanvir have upset you guys in any way, but if we have, I sincerely apologize. It seems you are upset with KV about something, but we don’t know what. Every Weekend KV is ridiculed and it is hard to see him being demoralized like this. At first, I just thought it was harmless leg-pulling, and even defended the same. After this blasting post, famous online tabloid SpotboyE got in touch with her to get some more light on it. On the face of it, she denied talking about the same and said, “I have already written everything on social media, which I felt. I don't want to stretch it and make it big.” After being further probed to say something about his hubby Karanvir’s wardrobe and dressing sense, she said, "He has his own unique personality. He always stands out. He is many times compared with Ranveer Singh. KV has his own style and he doesn’t like to look boring. Whatever he wears, he looks awesome in it". Sharing her views on Karanvir’s journey all throughout the Bigg Boss season 12, she was quoted as saying, "I see KV as the winner. Bigg Boss is a journey and everybody has to go through the difficulties. Unfortunately, he is having some hard experiences inside the house, but it is said that what breaks you makes you stronger. But, he definitely knows how to deal with all. He has shown a lot of courage, lot of kindness and love for everybody. He knows how to fight and how to forgive. She further went on to say, “I am glad that he is speaking up. He never said I want to leave. He never abused the channel or production house like the other contestants did. His journey is so inspiring I would say. He is so humble and entertaining. In spite of being a successful television actor, he is trying to entertain the viewers in all the way, like he is dancing, cooking parathas, washing dishes and I am sure all this is watched and loved by the audience. Now his fans who have been following him for his work are also loving him as a human being. What else does a winner need.”
For the ones who don’t know, after sharing the open letter post, Teejay again took to her account and shared a snap of Karanvir Bohra from Sultani Akhara. Along with it she wrote, “#November12th #letterstoKVB Hi sweety. I just wanted to tell you I am so proud of you. No matter what the situation, what you have to go through, you always show so much grace. However, in yesterday's episode, you were ridiculed for your dress sense, and then laughed at in Suktani Akhada. I saw you smiling but I knew you were hurt. I felt like crying seeing you like that. If there is one thing I've learned from BB, though, it's that you should always stand up for what's right. And I will always stand by you. You are never alone.
