From celeb couples taking the next step in their relationship and tying the knot to some married couples welcoming their little bundles of joy in their lives, it’s the season of welcoming new members in the families. Married for over 12 years now, VJ-turned-one of the highest-paid and well-acclaimed Bollywood actors, Ayushmann Khurrana and his author wife, Tahira Kashyap Khurrana are already parents to two wonderful kids, Virajveer Khurrana and Varushka Khurrana. Now, the couple has welcomed another member in their family and the Khurrana family is on cloud nine as Ayushmann’s actor brother, Aparshakti Khurana is excited to meet the baby. It was in 2001 when Ayushmann Khurrana had confessed his love over a phone call to Tahira Kashyap and seven years later, the couple had tied the knot. To mark their anniversary in 2020, Ayushmann had posted a picture with Tahira that perfectly described their relationship and captioned it as “And I don’t lie. That’s the only way he picks me up! Gunny bag ‘aaloo ki bori’ style! But this is the love I love, perhaps picking on your brains @ayushmannk is easier this way than being cradled and carried in your lap (a failed suhaag raat moment for us) To more ingenuity to many more such rides umm #happyanniversary.” Reposting the same picture and wishing Ayushmann on their anniversary, Tahira had written, “Celebrating 125 years of togetherness. May be more. Coz I know that I know you from centuries and time immemorial. This bond can’t be limited to this lifetime. You’re my companion, lover, personal stand up comedian, life coach and above all my best friend. I want to grow old with you. I know it’ll be a lot of fun. Sigh. Now, introducing the newest member of the Khurrana family, Tahira Kashyap shared an update on Instagram. Announcing that it’s a baby girl, Tahira revealed that they have welcomed an adorable pet pooch to their family of four and her name is Peanut. Tahira wrote, “Our newest member of the family! It’s a girl and she is PEANUT! We all are going nuts over her! An extension to my hair, peanut has a story too. The person who helped us get peanut told me, it’s always the boys that are picked first, and so no matter how cute peanut’s brother was, I wasn’t letting her be the second choice! People pls welcome.” Aparshakti Khurana commented, “Coming home nowwww to welcome our baby.”
In 2020, the Khurana clan had made the most of their family time in Chandigarh as Ayushmann Khurrana, Tahira Kashyap Khurrana, Aparshakti Khurana and Aakriti Ahuja had left Mumbai during the lockdown. On Diwali 2020, they have posed for picture-perfect family portraits with Mr and Mrs Khurrana and the little ones of the house, Virajveer Khurrana and Varushka Khurrana. The entire family had twinned in ivory-coloured ensembles by designer duo, Shantanu and Nikhil. Sharing a family picture, Ayushmann had written, “Khurranas with social distancing wishing you a very happy Diwali. I’m exactly 6 ft apart from my family. Explaining Ayushmann Khurrana and Virajveer Khurrana’s outfits, the designer duo, Shantanu & Nikhil had written on their IG page, “In lushes of Ivory & Gold, Ayushmann & Virajveer share a sweet father-son moment. A few months ago, Tahira Kashyap Khurrana had posted a series of throwback pictures with her little angel, Varushka Khurrana, which had comprised of their mother-daughter memories from their vacations. Penning the caption on how Varushka has an opinion on what her mother wears and why daughters are the best, Tahira had written, "Throwback with my little antithesis. She definitely likes to dress up and always has an opinion on what I wear.
