It was last year when most of Sushmita Sen’s posts had her, with a ‘mystery man’. From visiting the Taj Mahal together to singing with her elder one, Renee, it was very likely that something was cooking in the first Miss Universe from India’s life. And then, came about a final confirmation from Sushmita that she is truly, madly and deeply in love with a dapper model named, Rohman Shawl. The best part about their relationship is that Sushmita and Rohman are crazy about one another and their families love one another as their own! While we have seen many glimpses of the same (courtesy, Sushmita), we are pretty sure that Sush too, is just as adored in the Shawl fam.
Sushmita Sen and Rohman Shawl have often been on holidays together, be it with just one another or with her daughters, but this one’s tad too different. Sushmita took to Instagram and posted a series of pictures from her latest holiday with her boyfriend, Rohman Shawl from what looks like a luxury yacht in the middle of an ocean. This couple’s ‘twinning in white’ picture surely gave us a much-needed boost to start our Monday! Sush sported a black bikini which she paired with a loose white shrug and her beau, Rohman twinned with his ladylove in a white fitted swim-tee and shorts as they looked dreamy with one another. While the Main Hoon Na actress had captioned the picture with a single hashtag “love (with a kiss emoji)”, her beau replied, “Bliss (array of hearts) #love.” Here are the pictures:
If these pictures are not enough for you, then worry not for Sushmita Sen has decided to keep us mesmerised throughout! She posted a series of 'angel-like' pictures against the backdrop of what looks like, the Maldives, as she clad herself in all black. Sharing the pictures, she penned, "To embody the spirit of a Phoenix, one must embrace the transformative power of a Ricochet!! I love you guys!!! #soar." After witnessing Sushmita Sen and Rohman Shawl falling in love with each other even more with every passing day, all we want to tell them is “Get married, you two!” However, this doesn’t look like a far-fetched dream for according to the Vogue, wedding is on the cards for Rohman and Sushmita, and they might be pronounced husband and wife in November or December of 2019! Yes, you read that just right! Back in 2018, a source had revealed to the DNA about Sushmita and Rohman’s 2019 wedding and was quoted as saying, "Sushmita and Rohman were dating for two months after they met at a fashion gala and enjoy a good equation. The duo has even discussed the idea of marriage and if things go as planned, they will take their marital vows next year." If the reports are to be believed, Rohman Shawl has already proposed to Sushmita Sen and she has said ‘yes’! The source had revealed, "Rohman has already proposed to Sushmita and she has agreed, which is why she decided to go public with the relationship. They are currently figuring out when would be a good time to tie the knot, but as of now, the couple is looking at a date around winter 2019." Sushmita Sen’s daughters, Renee and Alisah, have already approved of their mother’s choice, "Apparently, both Renee and Alisah are fond of [Shawl]. The mother of two is happy that her daughters, too, have approved of her choice."
In an interview with Rajeev Masand for the web segment, Women We Love, Sushmita Sen had opened up about her life. She had shared with Rajeev that had it not been for a random guy in a room who had disturbed her, which had landed her hands on the direct messages on Instagram, there would have been no Rohman Shawl in her life! Opening up about the story, Sushmita Sen was quoted as saying, “It’s a very, very beautiful serendipity story. He sent me a direct message on Instagram and I didn’t check direct messages because I wasn’t sure if you check it, you may be allowing that person to start communicating with you. So, I had too many of these direct messages and I had not opened any and there it was.”
Sushmita Sen had further added as to how she had bumped into one of Rohman Shawl’s direct message on Instagram, “Touch screen phone ki Jai ho because I had gone to the DM to look at what all had come and I was scrolling through and this boy broke something in the room and I went talking to him and when I came back I had obviously opened one of the DMs and it was a message from him and I was like ‘Oh my god, how did I do that, god I should never be talking when I am near a phone’.” (Must Read: Riddhima Kapoor Sahni's Husband, Bharat Sahni Shares A Cute Birthday Wish For His Wife)
Sushmita Sen had also shared what her first text to Rohman Shawl was and what had happened when he realised that the former Miss Universe had replied to him. Sushmita had opened up that her reply to Rohman was, “Thank you so much, your message made my day, I wish you all the happiness in the world.” And he again sent her a message which had won her heart. He had replied, “I am jumping from one room to another, I cannot believe you responded.” And finally, Sushmita Sen had revealed how they had started talking on Instagram and he had once offered her to come to play football with him, “And then, I got to know him slowly when I came back and that too was an open offer to come play football with him.”
