Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen had announced their first pregnancy in May 2021. Charu’s sister-in-law, Sushmita Sen was too excited for the same and could not wait to meet the baby, who was due around her birthday. A few days before Sushmita’s birthday, on November 1, 2021, Charu and Rajeev had welcomed a baby girl into their lives and the newbie bua was there to witness the mesmerising moment of childbirth.
Rajeev Sen had announced the news of his daughter’s birth for the first time on his Instagram handle. He had shared pictures from the hospital room where Charu and Rajeev were seen cherishing the moment of holding their little one for the first time. The actor had shared the news of welcoming a baby girl, and had written:
"Blessed with a baby girl Charu is doing fine & fit.. So proud of my wife for being strong right till the end.. Thank you all for your prayers.. Thank you God."

A few hours back, on his IG stories, Rajeev Sen captured a beautiful moment between bua, Sushmita Sen and her niece, Ziana. After one month of Ziana’s birth, Sushmita Sen visited her niece and showered her with love. In the picture shared by Rajeev, Ziana can be seen lying on the bed and happily interacting with her bua, who was standing by the side of the bed, leaning towards her. It looked like they were engrossed in a fun conversation.
A few days back, Sushmita Sen’s daughter, Renee Sen had met her cousin, Ziana for the first time after her birth. Taking to her IG handle, she had shared a picture, holding her baby sister in her arms, who was wrapped in a pink towel and was wearing a cute black and white dress. Sharing the photo, Renee had written:
“Met my baby sister Ziana for the first today... The love and joy I felt is something I cannot describe in words.. Charu Mami and Raja Mama, thank you for the best gift ever Missed you sooo much @aaliyahsenb8.”

Soon after Ziana’s birth, Sushmita had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a happy picture from the hospital. She could be seen wearing hospital clothes, a face mask, and a headcover in the photo. Alongside it, Sushmita had bared her heart out on meeting her niece. She had written:
"Lakshmi arrives just before Diwali!! IT'S A GIRL! Congratulations @asopacharu & @rajeevsen9 …what a beauty she is!"
Expressing her joy on becoming a bua, and being able to witness childbirth, Sushmita had further added:
"Became a bua this morning. Not allowed to share baby pictures yet, so sharing mine from just before Charu delivered our little Angel. I was blessed to witness it. Thank you Doctor @rishmapai for making this such a beautiful & peaceful experience!! You're just the BEST. CONGRATULATIONS to Asopa & Sen family, 3 grandchildren, all girls!"
