It was on June 16, 2019, when Charu Asopa (now Sen), entered the bond of holy matrimony with the love of her life, Rajeev Sen. As you all know, Rajeev is the power-lady, Sushmita Sen’s brother and we can totally imagine the stupendous nanad-bhabhi goals that Charu and Sushmita will give (read already giving) to the world. Sushmita had gallons of fun at her brother’s wedding and kept on sharing one glimpse after another from their do. Yes, giving the world another reason to shout out loud that ‘I want a nanad like Sushmita Sen’, the first Miss Universe from India had dressed her bhabhi, Charu as a bride and had also gifted her, the wedding lehenga! While Sushmita Sen did dress Charu Asopa Sen for their wedding, the Asopa family too had given the beauty, her own ‘shaadi ka joda’! Not just their social wedding, Sushmita Sen had taken complete responsibility of dressing Rajeev Sen and Charu Asopa Sen for their legal wedding too. Charu had taken to Instagram and shared a note that Sushmita had written to the then soon-to-be-weds, ahead of their wedding. The note read, “Dear Charu & Rajeev, Congratulations on your wedding day! In an interview with the Bombay Times, Charu Asopa had spoken about her camaraderie with her then soon-to-be-nanad, Sushmita Sen. She had stated, "You won’t believe that I impersonated Sushmita Sen, when she was crowned Miss Universe, at a fancy dress competition in my school. I was very young then. I showed her the picture and she said that I looked adorable in it (smiles). Imagine the stroke of luck, she will be my sister-in-law soon. She told us to never sleep over a fight, and resolve our differences without any delay. Of course, like any other couple, Rajeev and I, too, have our share of fights, but we also resolve it in no time. He is very mature. We respect each other and we are good friends before anything else. Sushmita didi told me that jab aap bohot comfortable ho jaate ho kisi ke saath then you should know that he is the right guy for you.
