And the late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput had shared an exactly similar relationship with his pooches. We all know that the late actor had a pet dog, Fudge, who is now living with his father, KK Singh in Patna. But not many know that before Fudge, Sushant had adopted a furbaby named, Scotch, with his former girlfriend, Ankita Lokhande. The trio was inseparable back in those days, and Scotch Instagram page, which is followed by Ankita has been sharing beautiful glimpses of their' ' once happily ever after'!
On Sushant's second-month death anniversary, the Instagram page of Scotch posted the last picture with him and wrote, "This is the last pic I guess that I have of you with me! My Ironman, my Hercules, my moon and all of my stars, how can I dare not post anything for you today! You are a man full of passion, vision, dedication, love, kindness, gratitude. Your good deeds in silence have ensured that you will be remembered forever. You dared to dream and worked so hard making those dreams come true. Your deep fascination for science, for literature, for nature, for arts (From quantum physics to dance choreography in seconds) makes you unique. There won't be any other SSR for me. Your soul is indestructible. We can still feel your presence and your charming and unforgettable smile. Our Rockstar! I believe you are at a happy place now resting on the lap of your mother and watching us from there. We want to tell you that we are proud of you and the work that you have done and you will always live in zillions of hearts. You've done your job mate. You've made us all proud. A couple of weeks ago, Scotch's Instagram page had shared another picture with Sushant and Ankita, and had written, "We miss you here! We love you @lokhandeankita." In a 2010 interview with FilmiBeat, Sushant had talked about his pooch, Scotch and had said "Every bit of free time that I get, I spend it playing with my pet dog Scotch. It has been real long since I spent some quality time with him, and I don't't want to give up on that." In an interview with Republic TV, Ankita had revealed why she didn't attend her former-boyfriend, Sushant's funeral. She had shared that she had gotten up from a phone call of a journalist, who had informed her about his death, "I was sleeping, and I just got up with some reporter's call. Usually, I don't take unknown numbers. I picked up the call, and this reporter said, "Ankita, Sushant has committed suicide!" And I was finished. It was something that you don't expect something like this." She had further added, "I didn't know what to do. I was just there. The next day, there was his funeral, and I couldn't make it because somewhere I knew that if I see Sushant somewhere like that, in that position, that stage. I have my whole life to live, and I will never be able to forget that phase. So I decided that I cannot go to the funeral."
