From indulging in yoga, to sharing how much her hubby pampers her, this actress is giving all the preggy women out there some serious goals! Remember Surveen’s unique way of sharing the news of her pregnancy with her fans? Posting a pic of a framed photograph of herself with hubby Akshay Thakker, and two tiny red baby shoes kept infront of it, this is what the Hate Story 2 star wrote, “Life happens when it chooses to happen, when it wants to happen. And it is happening right now in this very moment, making our blessed and beautiful world even more blessed than what it already is! Yes, there is a miracle taking place, a miracle called life! And we are growing by two little teeny-weeny feet!! @akshaythakker.”
And ever since, we have been rigorously following this actress’s profile for all the pregnancy fun that she is having. The latest picture that the mommy-to-be posted, had herself and her hubby in a fun mood, wherein she is clicking a mirror selfie and her baby bump is clearly visible. Sharing as to what she calls an ‘official bumpie’, Surveen wrote, “And the official “BUMPIE”...P.S.- I’ve started looking like the above emoji.” Here’s the picture:
So amazing, isn’t she? In an interview with Pinkvilla, Surveen got all candid about her mood swings, pregnancy feeling and how her husband, Akshay, is taking care of his wifey. Calling him the most amazing dad-to-be, the mommy-to-be stated, “Both of us have been supporting each other in different ways. He is the best thing that has ever happened to me. He is absolutely wonderful and he is one of those who without saying jumps on to taking responsibilities. There's nothing more, that I could have asked for. Sharing about her excitement upon embracing motherhood, Surveen shared, “You know the idea of it being just beautiful is not true. It's actually a rollercoaster ride for every woman, but a beautiful one. Having said that, the real beautiful experience will begin when the special little one is in your arms when not just the baby but a new you will be born. I can foresee that happening. You are happy, excited and anxious all at the same time. because you feel like you are not born with the knowledge of how you are going to do this, but the truth is that you are actually born to do this. You know nothing and then when the time comes, you know it all. I think the moment he or she is out in the world, that would be the real turning point - the moment of truth, the moment of change. Your body will just produce the right hormones for you to feel that your world is in our arms. This is what I make of experiences that women have had and I am looking forward to mine.”
Is she having any food cravings? Surveen answered in the same interview, “Fortunately for me, I am not having any craving. My biggest craving is to have home cooked food, I am not feeling like to have junk or binging on outside food. For me, homemade food is the key.”
Quite like her pregnancy, fans and media were fairly surprised when Surveen had revealed that she has been married 2 years back! In an interview with TOI, the actress had revealed that although she was ‘reluctant’ to get married in the beginning, she has found a best friend in her husband. She had stated, “I could kiss my co-actor or even go nude on screen, I can do whatever the script demands in a film and my husband will not say anything about it. That’s the kind of understanding I have with him. When I have this kind of comfort level with him, why would I wait to get married?
