Sumeet Vyas is a prominent actor. He has starred in several TV shows and films amongst which is the box office hit film, Veere Di Wedding. He is also best known for his performance in TVF's web series, Tripling, Tripling 2 and Permanent Roommates. On the other hand, his actress wife, Ekta Kaul has done some amazing television serials like Rab Se Sohna Isshq, Mere Angne Mein and Bade Achhe Lagte Hain.
It was on September 15, 2018, when Sumeet Vyas had tied the marital knot for the second time with actress, Ekta Kaul. The couple had got married in Jammu in a traditional Kashmiri style wedding. The couple was later blessed with a baby boy in the middle of the pandemic on June 4, 2020, whom they have named Ved Vyas. For the unversed Sumeet Vyas, had already been married once before he tied the know with Ekta Kaul. The actor was married to actress, Shivani Tanksale for 7 years.

On November 7, 2021, Ekta Kaul held an 'Ask Me Anything' session on her Instagram handle. Out of many questions, there was a specific question that Ekta did not like. One of her fans had asked her, "How successful is it in your view to marry a divorced man or woman?" To that Ekta gave a kadak reply. She shared a picture featuring herself, her husband, Sumeet Vyas and son, Ved Vyas and replied:
"It's a disgusting question but still would loooveee to answer! It's this successful sir!!"
The picture which Ekta Kaul had used was from their recent Diwali celebrations. On November 4, 2021, Ekta had shared a post on Instagram dropping a series of pictures from the festivities. The photos also included their other family members. Atop of the picture, she had written:
"Happy Diwali everyone! May the light of diya (lamp) guide you to the way of happiness. May every aspect of your life becomes luminous. And may you be healthy and happy. Don’t burn crackers Wearing @aachho Ved @littlelovebespoke."
Earlier in an interview with a leading daily, Sumeet had spoken about his marriage with his ex-wife, Shivani Tanksale. He had shared that after his divorce he was in a tough phase. He had stated:
"I had a tough phase for a month or so, but then I immersed myself in work. I started taking up almost every offer that came my way. Today, I am in a very happy space."

In 2018 during an interview with Humans of Bombay, Sumeet had opened up about how he had met Ekta after his divorce. Talking about the same he had said:
“I’d been single for sometime–you know that phase where your friends say, ‘you’re single, doing well, don’t get into a relationship’?–I tried but got over it quickly. Around then, I met her.. at shows & on sets, but I didn’t know how to pursue her! She tweeted about my show & we started talking–I invited her to my play & we went out after!" "We ended up talking for hours about acting. By the third time, I had a feeling she wasn’t getting it! So I specified, ‘This is a date okay? & she just nodded! She’s not from the acting circuit–she was discovered by chance. It was a breath of fresh air! I’ve been around serious artists all my life.. this was so different! Even our choices didn’t match! The first movie we watched was La la land–I came out of it emotional & she was like eh! I thought oh no–how’s this going to work?"
On the professional front, Sumeet Vyas was last seen in the web series, Marzi in 2020.
