A mother helps her daughter understand the physical changes she goes through as she grows up, helps her select a dress for her prom night and proudly admires the beautiful lady her little girl has become over the years. But as the little girl grows up, she takes a step forward to fit into her mother’s shoes and fulfil the responsibilities towards her mommy. There’s a time when a mother gets her daughter ready for the fancy dress competition at school and then comes a time when her not-so-little-anymore girl updates and teaches her new makeup and fashion trends. Suhana Khan too, had become her mother, Gauri Khan’s fashion guru and had given her some makeup tips. Sharing a picture of Suhana, Gauri had written, “Learning... make up tips @suhanakhan2 #indoor #activity.”
It was just a few weeks back that Suhana Khan had made her Instagram account public and on Mother’s Day 2020, she had posted a wish for her interior designer mother, Gauri Khan. Revealing that she’s ‘kinda mad’ about one thing from her mother, Gauri, Suhana had written, "Happy Mother's Day Ma. Honestly, kinda mad that I don't look like you." Pat came a perfect motherly reply from Gauri as she reposted the picture and wrote, “I love you @suhanakhan2” with a heart emoji. In her Mother’s Day post, Gauri had posted a collage comprising of her picture with her mom, her elder son, Aryan Khan, daughter, Suhana and youngest one, AbRam Khan. Gauri had captioned it as “Maternal bonds .. happy Mother’s Day.”
We would like to differ from Suhana Khan’s complain from her mother, Gauri Khan. On September 19, 2019, Sanjay Kapoor’s wife, Maheep Kapoor had taken a trip down the memory lane and decided to treat her fans with a ‘cherished’ picture depicting her long-lasting friendship. Sharing a picture of Charlie's Angels – Suhana Khan, Shanaya Kapoor and Ananya Panday along with their star mommies, Gauri Khan, Maheep Kapoor and Bhavana Pandey, the star-wife-cum-fashion stylist had given her post an apt caption, which could be read as “#TimeFlies”. For the uninitiated, Suhana Khan, Shanaya Kapoor and Ananya Panday refer to themselves as Charlie's Angels and from vacationing together, partying like there’s no tomorrow, hanging out with their families to chilling out with friends, the girls have been giving major friendship goals. What we couldn’t help but notice, is the uncanny resemblance between Gauri and Suhana, who had twinned in blue ensembles for the event. Suhana Khan has not only turned the makeup expert for her mother, Gauri Khan but even when she was little, she had made sure her father, Shah Rukh Khan has his hair perfect before going for his shot. It is always a treat to see Shah Rukh with his family in one frame. A throwback picture of Shah Rukh and little Suhana had emerged on social media sometime back, wherein the latter had turned into a hairstylist for her dad, making sure he gets his hair set before his shot. While Shah Rukh was dressed in a maroon shirt with a black jacket and pants, Suhana looked adorable in a blue tee and white shorts.
In an interview with Zoom, Gauri Khan had revealed how her three children, Aryan Khan, Suhana Khan and AbRam Khan deal with the paparazzi. "Aryan and Suhana have been away for a number of years. Aryan has been away for 8 years and Suhana has been away for 7 years. So, they do not really have to face that pressure that paparazzi bring. When they are back for holidays, they do get papped. But, I think they are okay with it because it is not a constant pressure as they are not stepping out in Bombay, they are stepping out, where ever they are studying in a different part of the world. And, when they are back for holidays and they go out, they deal with it. It has just become a way of life. They don't give so much attention or energy to it. They have learnt to deal with it. AbRam does not go to places where the paps are, he is avoiding them. And, I don't think he gets papped as often as he mostly stays indoors. And, I don't think that they are taking it too seriously."
In January 2019, Gauri Khan had treated her fans with a throwback picture from the Diwali celebrations at Mannat. Sharing a cute picture with Shah Rukh as Gauri and Suhana gave him a sweet peck on his cheeks, the doting mommy had written, “Most days he deserved it.” The host for the night, Gauri had put together a beautiful setup of lights to replicate a starry night at their feet for the Diwali bash. Following the theme of gold and black, the Khan pariwar had stolen the limelight at their party.
