Meenakshi from Baa Bahoo Aur Baby and Shilpa from Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, TV actress, Suchita Trivedi (also, Sucheeta Trivedi) is all set to get married to Nigam Patel. Suchita managed to keep her wedding news under the wraps for a long time but now, the cat is out of the bag.
Suchita’s industry friends have let out the secret and shared a lot of pictures and videos on social media. Ridhi Dogra, Raqesh Vashisth, Krutika Desai Khan, among other celebs have shared the moments from the wedding rituals. In one of the firsts, Ridhi Dogra shared the following pictures from Suchita Trivedi’s mehendi ceremony and captioned the photos as, “Mehendi ki raat aayi #chiingum”:
For her mehendi, Suchita was dressed in a traditional lehenga choli, and had ornamented herself in a maang teeka and golden jewellery. On the other hand, hubby-to-be, Nigam kept it simple in a kurta pyjama. Take a look:
Famous designer, Swapnil Shinde has shared a story on his Instagram congratulating Suchita Trivedi and Nigam Patel. He shared the following picture and the beautiful words written on it can be read as, “His hello was the end of her endings, her laugh was the first step down the aisle, his hand would be hers to hold forever. His forever was as simple as her smile, he said she was what was missing, she said instantly she knew, she was a question to be answered, and his answer was ‘I do’ ”. For those who do not know, Suchita Trivedi made her acting debut in 1983 with the Bollywood film, Woh Saat Din, eventually moving into the television industry where she rose to fame through her role in Ek Mahal Ho Sapno Ka. Currently, she is doing a negative role in the Colors TV serial, Ishq Mein Marjawan.
She has also always been vocal about important issues happening in the country. Recently, while talking to a media portal she spoke about her strong views on the rapes happening in India. She was quoted as saying, “For, you not only terrorize the victim but also humiliate her, rendering her completely naked of her beliefs. The fact that this happened in Kashmir, which is a sensitive part of the country and is always under the lens, makes it big”.
