Karthikeya got married to his long-time girlfriend and singer Pooja Prasad on December 30, 2018, in Jaipur in a grand wedding ceremony. Baahubali superstars Prabhas, Anushka Shetty and Rana Daggubati jetted off to Jaipur to attend the wedding festivities of Karthikeya and Pooja.
Tollywood superstar, Ram Charan and his wife, Upasana Kamineni Konidela also attended the wedding. Upasana took to her official Instagram handle, and sharing the following picture, wrote, "They lived happily ever after, thanks so much @ssrajamouli garu, Rama garu, Shobha aunty & Ram Prasad uncle - u were faaaaab hosts. Everything was so personal & warm. We had a phenomenal time. #bangaramsaysss #ramcharan @poojaveeramachaneni & @sskarthikeya."

Earlier, Karthikeya took to Twitter to announce that he is all taken after his engagement with Pooja and captioned the following picture as, “Yesss!! Prabhas and Anushka Shetty had earlier been reported to be dating, and soon the wedding was on the cards, as claimed by many media houses. Recently, when Prabhas appeared on Koffee with Karan, he denied anything brewing between him and Anushka. In fact, in an earlier report by Pinkvilla, Anushka, “We are just very good friends. And there’s nothing between Prabhas and me except friendship. We are definitely not getting married." She further shared, “We are very good friends. But we aren’t getting married. I am in no hurry to settle down."
In another interview, Prabhas had reacted to his wedding rumours with Anushka, and had said, "I do not want to reveal my private life. Many people ask me if I have affairs and the issue of marriage crops up invariably. But these people should understand me. Don’t ask me about my marriage. It looks very superficial.
