It was a complete shocker when one of the strongest contestants of Bigg Boss 12, Srishty Rode got evicted last night on November 25, 2018. Though there were many other contestants inside the house who could have been eliminated and were believed to be weaker than her, her eviction was a complete surprise. Nonetheless, the actress who is now out of the house has shared the feeling of the entire BB 12 journey. In addition to this, she also reacted on her link-up reports with co-contestant, Rohit Suchanti.
When in an interview with SpotboyE, she was asked about her take on being compared to Hina Khan’s dressing sense, she replied, “Why do you think any actress from the same industry would like to copy someone? If you see Megha and Jasleen also have the same collection of nightsuits. She further went on to add, “Or anyone in next season may also come with the same kind of dresses and nightsuits, then people will say 'Srishty ko copy kar rahi hai'. Just because coincidentally, I was wearing similar nightsuits it doesn’t mean I was copying Hina Khan. This is not fair I think. Everyone works hard on themselves aur kisi ke hardwork ka credit kisi aur ko dena is not fair. Hina has worked hard for her looks. Moreover, when she was asked about her chemistry with Rohit, Srishty said, “I don’t know what his intentions were. But I would really like to accept the fact that I have found a very nice and caring friend. He supported me a lot when I needed him. So, I appreciate this side of him”. Further on being asked, with whom she would not want to stay in contact, the former Bigg Boss contestant said, “All of them are my friends and I want to stay in touch with them. Things with Dipika went a little haywire in the last few days. And my connection with Jasleen is okay. But honestly aisa koi bhi nahi hai ghar mein jiski main shakal nahi dekhna chahungi and all that (laughs)”.
Talking about her shocking eviction, she said, “I feel Jasleen Matharu should have come out definitely. Because she is doing nothing inside other than unnecessarily screaming and poking her nose in others matters”. Defending her ‘Saiyaan Bhaiyyaa’ comment on Dipika Kakar, she said, “Yes, I came to know about it. Manish wrote the open letter to answer Dipika’s husband, Shoaib Ibrahim. He started all this as far as I have come to know. And I really don’t know what made him do that. It was totally unwanted kyunki main immediately Dipika se maafi maang chuki thi. In case, I would not have realised it and apologised to her, his letter would have made sense. And let me clear whatever we said was unintentional, not to hurt Dipika, so I apologised to her. For the ones who don’t know, Manish had also shared his views on Srishty’s closeness on the show. He was quoted as saying, “I am absolutely cool with the link up news. I know Rohit is trying his best but nothing is going to happen because I know Srishty is all mine. She is really clear in her thoughts and knows whom she wants. She knows what she is doing in the house. I have no comments for Rohit. Till the time he is in his limits it is fine, but the moment he crosses his limits, I shall not tolerate."
Adding further, he said, "I am fully secured and I know what she is doing. I don't need to be insecure at all and as I know Srishty. Everyone has their right to feel and express their emotions and I am quite okay if Rohit has done that, but I am not at all insecure. I just want him to be in his limits."
