She had stolen many hearts with her dance number, Mera Piya Ghar Aaya, O Ramji, and had become the love of the nation with that enchanting smile of hers. The ruling queen of the 90s, Madhuri had met Dr Nene on her brother, Ajit Dixit’s request. After several meetings, they had become friends and rest as they say is history. It was sheer love because of which, Madhuri had decided to settle down with Sriram during the peak of her career and one interesting fact was that Sriram was completely unaware of the super-stardom of his wife when they had gotten married on October 17, 1999.
Madhuri Dixit loves sharing glimpses of her family with her fans and her recent post was no different. On October 7, 2020, Madhuri took to her IG handle and shared a video of her hubby, Sriram Nene trying to make her favourite dish, Sabudana Khichdi. As she guided him, Sriram asked his wife about a particular ingredient, to which she responded that it was cumin. Their conversation turned into a hilarious banter when he asked her what is cumin called in different languages. Madhuri captioned the video as “Come and learn how to make one of my all time favourites, #SabudhanaKhichidi with Ram and me.”
On May 15, 2020, Madhuri had turned 53 and had received lovely wishes from her co-stars and fans. But it was her hubby, Shriram Nene, who had shared a heart-melting wish for his better half. Shriram had taken to his Instagram handle and had shared a beautiful picture with his gorgeous wife and had written, “Here’s wishing my soul mate and very talented better half a very Happy Bday! It’s been the most amazing ride so far. When Dr Nene had met Madhuri for the first time, he was not aware of the fact that she was an actress and worked in Hindi films. The much-in-love couple is an inspiration to many and has been setting major couple goals. On January 4, 2020, Madhuri Dixit Nene had taken to her Instagram handle and had posted a picture with her hubby, Sriram Nene. Along with the picture, she had written, “More journeys with the ones you love...Where do we sign up?”
In an interview with the Filmfare, Madhuri had talked about her life after she had tied the knot with Sriram. She had stated, “Marriage changes all of us to some degree, no matter what people say. Some of the changes are common to all marriages like your schedules and time with family, etc. It’s great to have a life partner you can depend on. At the same time, you now have to look out for the family unit. In our case, the issue of her being a celebrity makes some things difficult or impossible. This is more the case in India than in the US.
