In a recent interview with India Today, Bollywood actor, Sooraj Pancholi talked about all the people, who are dragging his name constantly in the suicide case of the late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput. The actor has stated that his parents, Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab are worried about his mental condition because of all the hate their son is receiving all over the internet and media. He stated, "I am trying to stay positive right now. You know, as strong and as positive as I can be, I don't discuss this with my family because I know they are already in much stress because of me, thinking about me all the time. My mother thinks that I'm going to harm myself. And she has spoken to me a couple of times."

The actor also revealed that it was his mother, Zarina Wahab, who had once told him to talk to her and requested him not to be quiet and let the things come out. He explained, "Even after Sushant's death, she spoke to me saying, 'Sooraj, whatever it is if there's anything in your heart, please come and talk to us. Don't be quiet.' I'm not a very talkative person when it comes to my problems. I don't discuss with my family because I know they're stressed because of me."

At the end of the interview, the actor had stated that the ongoing hate is now getting traumatic for him and if the situation is going to be like this, then there are chances that he will commit suicide because of this mental pressure soon. He shockingly stated in his heartbreaking statement that, "They are destroying my life. I don't know whether Sushant committed suicide or not. I don't know. But these people will definitely drive me to commit suicide. I would like to say that." A few months back, in an interview with The Times of India, Sooraj Pancholi's father, Aditya Pancholi had talked about all the allegations that his son is receiving at the moment in the context of Sushant Singh Rajput's case. According to his father, the two were good friends and used to call each other brother. Aditya Pancholi had explained that "People are unnecessarily dragging Sooraj into this. They need a helpless person to blame everything for. He has nothing to do with Sushant Singh Rajput's case. People are just cooking stories. Sooraj and Sushant were not 'friends' as such, but they knew each other, and they spoke to each other cordially whenever they met. They called each other 'brother'."
