Merely months after giving birth to her first child, Vayu Kapoor Ahuja, the doting mommy Sonam Kapoor made heads turns with her unbelievable presence at the red-carpet event for the Red Sea International Film Festival in Jeddah. While she looked her stunning best in a dramatic outfit, it was the first time that she graced such an event after the birth of her son.
However, taking to her social media handle on December 3, 2022, Sonam talked about her feeling to leave her newborn son back home, and travel thus far for the first time. In the video, Sonam candidly spoke about her nervous feeling enroute to the airport. She mentioned that she felt nervous not just because it was the first international event she was attending post the arrival of her little one, but also the first time she was so far away from her son, Vayu.

Recalling how difficult it was for her to take the decision, and leave her baby boy Vayu, Sonam mentioned that she is slightly assured since her mom, Sunita Kapoor and her sister, Rhea Kapoor are there on her behalf to take care of him. In her words:
“I’m going to miss him so much. I’m very nervous to leave him behind even if it is just for a day. He is with my mom and my sister so I am not that stressed. I am literally going for 20 hours. I have figured out a way to leave in the morning and come back.”

While Sonam leaving her son to attend the film festival was a difficult choice she had to make, however, she made sure that all felt her presence at the event. Making a stunning appearance, Sonam made a power-packed entrance at the red carpet by donning a dramatic red gown. She wore subtle makeup and tied her hair in a sleek bun. She accessorised her look with an exquisite diamond necklace and completely nailed the glam look.
While her fans were left jaw dropping by this first look of her from the event, she made sure to surprise her audience once again by donning another gorgeous outfit for the Vanity Fair dinner at the Red Sea International Film Festival. For the stunning look, Sonam wore a dramatic gown, in bright yellow. She completed her look with statement earrings, and a compact bun for the hairdo.
Well, we are happy to see how Sonam perfectly balances being a hands-on-mommy as well as a true-blue fashionista!
