Bollywood actress, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja attended an event, the 'Shaadi' collection by Mariot Bonvoy, in Mumbai. The gorgeousness looked stunning in a pretty ensemble by her favourite designer duo, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. While she tried her best to show off her style at the event, netizens noticed how she carried her jacket atop her Anarkali dress. They compared the outfit with the popular film, Sholay's character, 'Thakur'.
On February 25, 2023, Sonam was clicked at an event. She looked beautiful in a cream-hued anarkali with silver gotta patti on the hem of the dress. She styled her look with an embellished black jacket with silver embroidery. Sonam's look was accentuated with oxidised silver ear cuffs, matching rings and tones of bangles. She completed her look with heavy kohl-filled eyes and hair tied in a high bun.

When her pictures went viral, netizens quickly compared her look with 'Thakur' of Sholay film. The post was flooded with hilarious comments from internet users. One netizen wrote, "Thakur Saab Aaye from Sholey!... Olle Olle Olle." Another commented, "Yeh Haath Hum Ko De De Thakur." A fan commented, "Piche se koi dekhege to ek bar ko to bechare ko lge ki Bina hath ki hai."
For those who don't know, Sonam Kapoor got married to Anand Ahuja on May 8, 2018. Their wedding was a grand affair, and their hashtag, 'Everyday Phenomenal Couple' still trends on the internet. Sonam announced the new phase of her pregnancy in March 2022. She had shared a picture with her hubby, Anand, while flaunting her baby bump in a black-coloured monokini.
On August 20, 2022, Sonam and Anand announced the arrival of their baby on their IG handles. In the picture postcard, Sonam and Anand shared their excitement about becoming parents to the world.
