According to a report in DNA, Sonam Bajwa reacted to the backlash she received for her sultry photoshoot in a red dress. The actress shared that getting criticised or trolled is a part of social media, and since everyone has a phone they are free to type anything they want. She further added that everyone has a right to express their view. Talking about the same, the actress shared that:

"There will be people who would be welcoming, more accepting of this change. And the criticism or getting trolled is also a part of social media. Everyone has a phone, and they can type whatever they want. You’re not accountable for it. And…everyone has a right to express their views."

Further in the interview, the actress then added that if she is comfortable doing something, then it cannot bother her anyway. Talking about the photoshoot, she shared that when she posted the photos, she didn't expect such an outcome, be it positive or negative. The actress shared she found the photoshoot normal yet aesthetic. She then slammed the trolls by saying that if people don't like her, they can easily unfollow her. The actress asked the people to live and let others live. Elaborating on the same, the actress shared that:

"If I am comfortable and if I find it okay…then other things don’t bother me. When I did the photoshoot, I had no intention or thoughts that ‘Oh I have to project it like that.’ When I saw the footage, I found it esthetic. When I posted these pictures and video, I didn’t expect such kind of response, even the positive ones. For me, it was a normal photoshoot. Jinna nu nahi pasand aaya, please I’m very happy if you unfollow and do not come on my page and comment. Live and let live."

However, some netizens who seemed unimpressed started trolling Sonam and dropped nasty comments under her post. Reacting to the smoking hot photos and videos, one user wrote, "Nahale bhen hamare ghar mai bhi ha fuwara." Another user dropped "Bull is watching you" in the comment section.
