Bollywood actress, Sonali Bendre shares a beautiful bond with her hubby, Goldie Behl. The duo has been each other's pillar of strength in difficult and happy times. The gorgeous actress believes in all the traditions, and we have seen her enthusiastically taking part in them. On the occasion of Karwa Chauth 2021, Sonali stunned everyone by donning her nineteen-year-old wedding lehenga.
Before we take you further into the story, let us take a look at Sonali and Goldie's fairytale love story. Sonali was an educated Maharashtrian girl, while he was a typical Punjabi brat. They met, sparks flew, and Cupid hit them with its sharpest love arrow. And then came Sonali's parents, who were not happy with the two of them getting married. But in the end, dilwale dulhaniya le hi gaye. On November 12, 2002, Sonali and Goldie had tied the knot in a lavish ceremony.
On October 24, 2021, Sonali took to her Instagram handle and posted two pictures from her Karwa Chauth look. In the photo, we can see her look gorgeous, donning a pink-coloured ensemble. The actress revealed that she had re-worn her wedding lehenga designer by Manish Malhotra for the special occasion. Her look was accentuated with a minimal mangalsutra. Check it out below:
Alongside the pictures, Sonali bared her heart out and wrote,
"I have always believed that traditions are what you make of them... to me, they are a bridge between the past, present and future. I respect where they came from but never hesitated to give it my own meaning. Karwa Chauth is one such festival… to me, it has always been a celebration of family and friends that are family. A day spent in rituals with the people you love. The fact that I get pampered by my husband is a bonus."
In fact, Sonali Bendre's husband, Goldie Behl also shared a picture of the actress rocking her look in her wedding lehenga. Atop the picture, he put a red heart emoticon in the caption.
Sonali further added, "It's a celebration of togetherness and companionship, cementing the love we share with our husbands & the bond between our family and friends. Fun fact… I'm wearing my wedding lehenga from 19 years ago by @manishmalhotra05 and have paired it with this beautiful mangalsutra from @bulgari. Then and now, the worlds can meet, if you just approach it with love."
On the work front, Sonali Bendre was last seen on the silver screen as a guest appearance in Once Upon A Time in Mumbai Dobaara.
