Actress, Sonalee Kulkarni, who rose to fame with her dancing skills in the Marathi cinema. She has also worked in films like Grand Masti and Singham 2. Last year, in 2021, Sonalee Kulkarni had tied the knot with her then-longtime beau, Kunal Benodekar in a court wedding. However, the couple's parents had attended the ceremony via video call.
For the unversed, Sonalee had got engaged to Kunal on February 2, 2020. However, Sonalee had chosen her birthday to share this special news with everyone. Sonali had penned a note and had announced her engagement news. She had written:
"Before my birthday ends, I want to mark it via creating a SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT!!! Introducing my fiancé Kunal Benodekar!" Wishes started to pour in from all over as Sonalee's friends and fans congratulated her for the big news, one of whom was Dipika Kakar.

Later, on May 7, 2021, the couple had tied the knot in an intimate court ceremony. And this year, on their first wedding anniversary, Sonalee and Kunal again took the vows in London, UK. Earlier, the couple had completed the formalities of their registered marriage in a rush in Dubai. Due to this, no one from their family could end it, but this time their entire families were present.
Sonalee shared a picture on her IG handle, which read, "Finally. we did it." Alongside it, she penned a long note in Marathi. She revealed that it was due to the pandemic, their wedding got postpone not once or twice but thrice. She wrote:
"Due to #pandemic, our wedding ceremony had to be postponed twice and for the third time it got cancelled. I was stuck in Dubai and that is why we decided to get married in court. Our parents, and family could not travel. They witnessed the event by zoom call. We got married on 7.05.2021 last year, hoping that when the situation improves, we will all come together and celebrate. This year, on our first wedding anniversary, we got married in front of our families in a very solemn manner, in a very Marathi dreamy traditional wedding. P.S. What happened, how it happened, where it happened, everything - will share everything “soon”!
