And now, with his much-hyped upcoming movie, Kalank, he is hitting the headlines yet again. The mention is of none other than, Aditya Roy Kapur, who is touted as one of the lovely chocolate boys from the tinsel town. His relationship status has always been the curiosity factor for all his fans.
In an interaction with Catchnews, Aditya had revealed that he prefers marriage over a live-in relationship. Aditya was quoted as saying, “I think live-in relationship works for a few people and it doesn’t for others. I have never done it, so I can’t speak about the pros and cons. I don’t know if that will work for me or not, but I am definitely not close to the idea. For an arrangement like that to succeed, one needs to have the right feeling for the right person. The OK Jaanu actor further went on to add, “It is not about what is right or wrong. Live-in relationships are common these days, that’s why so many movies are being made on the subject. Many of my friends are going through live-in relationships, some have worked out and some didn’t. But I don’t feel it is a negative thing and marriage has to do anything with it.”
Aditya Roy Kapur just recently made his entry on social media platform with an Instagram account on January 28, 2019. Ever since he has been getting used to the platform so much so, that he has been promoting his upcoming movie Kalank there as well. Lately, Aditya shared a ‘cool dude’ kind of a picture on his profile wearing a blue t-shirt on which “SINGLE” is written. He hash-tagged the snap as, “#thesinglelife.” Soon after this, Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor commented and declared Aditya a liar. Recently, Mumbai Mirror had questioned Aditya if marriage is on the cards anytime soon. To this, the actor was quoted as saying, “I’m glad people around me haven’t been asking me this question. Marriage is not on my mind and is not on the cards anytime soon. It’s something I’m sure about.”
On his plans of joining social media, Aditya had once shared with Mumbai Mirror, “I don’t even have a Facebook account, so my case is extreme. My last online chat was on MSN and ICQ when I was in the seventh standard. For me jumping all these generations and joining Instagram is a bit of a push but I see the potential of having fun with it. Sometimes you must dive in and learn how to swim. On revealing what keeps him busy when he isn’t shooting, the Aashqui 2 actor had shared, “I like packing in a game of football into my schedule every now and then. It’s less boring than running on the treadmill. I also enjoy watching sports and try to spend as much time as I can with family and friends. Sometimes I feel it’s a bit taxing because I can’t do everything, I used to be able to do in Mumbai. I used to be more out and about earlier. But what to do? (Shrugs) I play the guitar and hang out at my favourite places when work is not hectic. It is something I look forward to.”
