After begum Kareena Kapor Khan and nawab, Saif Ali khan welcomed tiny star, Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi in December 2016, Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu too shared the happy news with their fans recently. The couple who tied the knot on 25 January 2015, is expecting their first baby together.

The happy daddy-to-be, Kunal Kemmu shared the news with fans and media saying:
“Yes it’s true. Soha and I are very happy to announce a joint production coming later this year – our first child! We feel blessed and thank you all for your good wishes.”
Without any doubt, Kareena Kapoor Khan is one name from Bollywood who ruled the 9 months like how! Be it her bold statements about a pregnant working woman, her working style during and after pregnancy, and her fashion sense throughout the time, Kareena did set some very interesting standards about pregnancy and motherhood.

Now that Pataudi khandaan’s daughter Soha is expecting her first baby, people have already started comparing Kareena and Soha (which is so unfair). In an interview with Hindustan Times, mom-to-be Soha shared quite a few things about her pregnancy, Kunal’s reaction when she broke the news and the constant comparisons with Kareena.

Talking about the comparisons with her sister-in-law, Kareena Kapoor, Soha said:
“Nobody wants comparisons because everybody is different. Some pregnant women are required to take more rest, while others are healthy throughout their pregnancies. It’s unfair to make comparisons because every pregnancy is different.”
When quizzed about if she will be taking up projects, Soha said:
“When I don’t feel I have the energy to do something, I don’t do it. I’m not taking on too much because this is a priority and everything else takes a backseat. When it comes to heels, I carry my flats, too, in the car. [Also] at this stage, it’s alright [to wear heels] but later when you are worried about being off-balance, that’s when you have to, of course, be comfortable.”
Well said, Soha. Now talking about how Kunal and she were feeling about parenthood, Soha said:
“Kunal and I, we’re both very new to this. We always get very nervous talking about things that are so personal, but we’ve made an announcement and Kunal came out with a statement as well confirming the news. We still have a while to go, so we’re just looking for positive vibes ad blessings from everyone around us.”
When asked Kunal’s reaction when she first broke the pregnancy news, Soha quipped:
“I’m not telling anybody what he said. That’s very private. Actually, I don’t want to talk about it too much, apart from saying that we both are clueless about being parents.”
Initially, everyone is clueless about parenthood and pregnancy but slowly it grows on you in the most wonderful way. And besides, we are sure, you and Kunal will make great parents. Here’s wishing Soha and Kunal all the best for this exciting new phase of their life.
