The wedding season is on in full swing and many of our favourite celebrities are busy preparing for their upcoming wedding! One such celebrity is the new controversy queen of small screen, Sofia Hayat.

Sofia, who likes to call herself mother Gaia, shocked everyone last year when she announced that she is turning into a nun and will never marry! She even claimed that she has denounced sex! After she chose the path of simplicity and spirituality, everyone thought that she will never tie the knot. But she gave a big shock to her fans and media when she announced that she is getting married and has found the man of her dreams. She got engaged in March to her fiancé, Vlad Stanescu.
Talking about her fiancé, Sofia earlier said:
“I love my beautiful fiancé. Always and forever..infinitely across all dimensions. I surrender to you. You are my heart. You are perfect..you are love..you are me..we eat the same..think the same and love unconditionally.”

Talking further about his background, Sofia said:
“Everyone has been waiting for his name and I have kept it quiet because he is not a celebrity. I wanted to protect him. He is a beautiful soul with a heart of gold, a gentle kind man. His name is Vlad Stanescu. He is an Interior Designer from Romania. He is extremely creative and so talented. He has worked on palaces for His Majesty King Fahd of Saudi Arabia, HRH Queen Silvia of Sweden, HRH Prince William Duke of Cambridge, HRH The Sultan of Brunei, HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Nasser bin Jassim Al Thani of Qatar etc. He notices the smallest things. He is a true gentleman.”
When she was asked about her wedding plans, she earlier said:
“We are getting married on the April 24 this year. Our ceremony is the blessing of all as one, Hindu, Muslim, Gnostic, Christian, Buddhist and Tibetan. The all, true divinity by an ancient Egyptian High Priestess who served me when I was Goddess Isis. We have already had our Islamic wedding.”

Well, the actress is now busy preparing for her upcoming wedding. There is very less time left for her wedding and she is leaving no stone unturned to make it a grand affair!
