The couple had walked down the aisle together on November 23, 2017, and had become parents of a baby girl on April 15, 2020. Since then, we are seeing Smriti Khanna posting tons of beautiful and adorable pictures on her Instagram handle. Recently, the television actress has delighted her fans with an adorable video of her daughter, Anayka.
On June 7, 2020, Smriti Khanna took to her Instagram handle and posted an adorable video of her little munchkin, Anayka. In the video, we can see the baby girl wearing a blue frock and looks sleepy in her mother’s lap. However, the little cotton ball tries to see around, which adds to the cuteness of this lovely video. What caught everyone’s attention are the sugar pumpkin cheeks of the baby. Even the doting mommy, Smriti Khanna also wrote a caption along with the video and it can be read as “Mumma I can’t balance these cheeks all by myself.” Take a look. Smriti Khanna and Gautam Gupta had embraced parenthood on April 15, 2020, and 20 days later, the doting mommy had announced the name of their baby girl. Posting their first family picture with the just-born daughter in the frame, Smriti had written, "Anayka, #family #FirstFamilyPic #DaddysGirl.” In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Smriti had revealed that it took them 20 days to decide their daughter’s name. Anayka means powerful and given the current scenario, Smriti and Gautam had felt it would be an apt name for their baby girl. Also, she had revealed that blessed by a daughter girl was a dream come true moment for her. It was a special Mother’s Day for Smriti as it was her first with her daughter.
Just two weeks after the birth of their baby girl, Smriti Khanna had delighted her fans with the first-ever picture of her baby girl and in the caption, the doting mother had promised to take care and protect her baby girl till her last breath. She had written, "There will never be a day, like a day you were born... Thank you for choosing me to be your mother. I promise to love you and protect you till my last breath. #TheDayWeMet." Later, Smriti had taken to her Instagram story and had posted a beautiful selfie with her newborn baby girl. As the little one had slept cuddled in her mommy’s arms, Smriti can be seen kissing her daughter on her forehead. Smriti had posted an ‘I Love You’ sticker on the beautiful photo.
On the occasion of Mother's Day, Smriti's husband, Gautam had taken to his Instagram handle to wish the new mommy on Mother's Day. He had shared a couple of pictures with her and their baby girl. But one picture that had stood out was of Smriti holding her little munchkin while heir pooch was lovingly looking at the little wonder.
