Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi couple, Smriti Khanna and Gautam Gupta had embraced parenthood on April 15, 2020, with their baby girl's arrival, whom they have named, Anayka Gupta. Baby Anayka turned one month old yesterday, i.e., April 15, 2021, and the doing mommy-daddy left no stone unturned to celebrate their little princess' milestone in the most special manner!

On April 15, 2021, we had given you a sneak peek of the preparations for baby Anayka's first birthday. The doting mommy, Smriti had shared glimpses of the preparations on her IG handle. She had also re-shared The Baking Gurl's story, the cake baker, who was making Anayka’s first birthday cake.
A few moments ago, Smriti Khanna took to her IG handle and shared various pictures from her daughter, Anayka's 'back to school' themed birthday celebration. Smriti looked gorgeous, dressed as a schoolgirl in a check shirt and black pleated skirt. Her long tresses in a ponytail added definition to her themed look. The handsome father, Gautam Gupta also dressed as a school student for the party. Baby Anayka looked cute as a button, dressed in a baby's school uniform. The unique birthday cake stole the show, as it had all elements of the theme, including a school bus, books, pencils and numbers on it. On Anayka's first birthday, the loving mommy, Smriti had posted a video, comprising of her daughter’s adorable moments of one year, including the moment when she was born. Smriti had captioned the post as "You’re the sweetest gift that came during such crazy times. You have been our sunshine in darkness and reminded us that life is so beautiful. I love you to the moon and back a million times over. Happy born day my princess. I'm so blessed to be your mumma."
To mark Anayka Gupta’s half-birthday on October 15, 2020, Smriti Khanna and Gautam Gupta had celebrated at their home with a yummylicious cake and a beautifully decorated room. For the celebrations, Smriti and Anayka had twinned in blue-coloured ruffled dresses and Gautam had complemented the mother-daughter duo in a white t-shirt and blue denim. Sharing the adorable pictures of baby Anayka as she had completed 6-months, Smriti had written, "Happy ½ Birthday my princess."

In a throwback interview with The Times of India, Smriti Khanna had spoken about the feeling of motherhood and how holding the little one makes everything worth it. She was quoted as saying, "The feeling of motherhood is something which can't be described in words, but it's amazing. It is a very different feeling and can't be compared to any other happiness. No matter how tired you are, how sleep deprived you, how much pain you have gone through when you hold that little baby in your hand. It's all worth it."
Revealing the meaning of their daughter's name and why they thought Anayka would be apt for the little one, Smriti Khanna had said, "Her name is Anaika. It means powerful and complete, I feel it resonates with the current situation. Complete because our family is complete now with her arrival. The baby has come after a long time in the house. Gautam is the elder brother and everyone was waiting for her. Powerful because she came during this time which makes her super strong. It is a blessing in disguise for us, no matter what the situation is outside."
