TV show, Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi had played the role of Cupid for Smriti Khanna and Gautam Gupta. On May 5, 2020, Smriti had taken to her Instagram handle and had revealed her angel's unique name as Anayka, which means powerful. Since then, Anayka has not only taken over the life of her parents but has also become a social media sensation with 37.1k followers.

Anayka’s IG handle is a treat for her fans as her mommy and daddy regularly share her adorable videos and pictures there. The little doll not only features on her IG handle but also frequently makes it to her parents’ IG handle. A few days back, Smriti Khanna had taken to her IG handle and had shared adorable pictures with her baby girl, Anayka. The mother-daughter duo could be seen twinning in blue tulle frocks. While Smriti had looked gorgeous as ever, her little munchkin had stolen the show. In her caption, the doting mommy had called her baby girl 'Japanese doll'. On October 15, 2020, Smriti Khanna and Gautam Gupta had celebrated their little angel's six-month birthday. Smriti had looked utterly gorgeous in a one-shoulder dress in the shades of blue and her daughter, Anayka had twinned with her beautiful mommy. In one of the pictures, the mother-daughter duo was seen posing with a bunch of balloons in the background, and the other picture was a picture-perfect family click. Alongside it, Smriti had written, "Happy ½ Birthday my princess."
Talking about Smriti and Gautam's baby girl's unique name, the actress had revealed the story of the same in an interview with the Hindustan Times. She had said that it took them 20 days to decide her name. She had further revealed what 'Anayka' means and had added that it denotes powerful and complete. She feels Anayka is an apt name for her daughter. The actress had also said that she had wanted a baby girl and her wish has come true.
