Motherhood brings in a lot of excitement in a woman’s life as she completely involves herself taking care of her tiny tot. From bathing her little munchkin to feeding them, she is always on her toes carrying her mommy duties. One such busy momma is television actress, Smriti Khanna. Smriti had gotten married to her Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi co-star, Gautam Gupta in 2017. After three years, the beautiful couple had entered the phase of parenthood with the arrival of their little angel, Anayka. Ever since Anayka had entered their lives, Smriti and Gautam’s social media handles are filled with adorable pictures of their little cotton ball. Smriti and Gautam make sure to treat their fans by sharing glimpses with their little munchkin. On July 22, 2020, Smriti had shared the first family picture with Anayka and Gautam where they had twinned in yellow outfits. Baby Anayka had looked adorable in her daddy’s arms while the doting parents had kissed her. Along with the picture, Smriti had written, “The headband family. #FirstFamilyPhoto #Twinning”
On September 11, 2020, Gautam Gupta took to his IG handle and shared a beautiful picture of Smriti with their angel, Anayka and pooch, Lucas. In the picture, Smriti was seen caressing the two babies, Anayka and Lucas to sleep and the picture spoke volumes about motherhood. Gautam captioned the picture as “Mommy Duties> Daddy Duties.”
Some days ago, the doting mommy, Smriti Khanna had shared the cutest video on her IG handle in which, her husband, Gautam Gupta could be seen playing with their little munchkin, Anayka. Gautam was seen adoring his little wonder with a big smile on his face, while mommy, Smriti had recorded the video. Baby Anayka had looked cute as a button, and with her cute expressions, it had seemed she was trying to talk to her papa! On the occasion of Mother's Day, Smriti Khanna's husband, Gautam Gupta had taken to his Instagram handle to wish the new mommy on her special day. He had shared a couple of pictures of her with their baby girl. But one picture that had stood out was of Smriti holding her little munchkin while their pooch had lovingly looked at the little wonder. Gautam had captioned the pictures as "Happy First Mother’s Day my love!"
After Anayka's birth, the young mommy, Smriti had raised a common issue amongst young mothers these days in an interview with The Times of India. She had talked about postpartum depression and had shared, "I have realised that even if you speak good on social media and educate people about pregnancy and mother, haters will still troll you. I felt that people did not discuss much about pregnancy, weight issues, breastfeeding and I feel these topics should come out openly in our society because there are so many myths and women struggle all their life to lose weight. There are so many times that this becomes a matter of depression for them. They stop stepping out because they are not looking a certain way or not fitting into their dress. Some women are scared to get pregnant. There is postpartum depression and it is a big thing and it is not spoken in India."
