Maine Pyaar Kiya fame, Bhagyashree had tied the knot with her soulmate, Himalay Dassani, in 1990. However, even after so many years of their marriage, the couple still holds a spark in their eyes for each other. The duo is parents to two beautiful kids, Abhimanyu Dassani and Avantika Dassani. Both their kids have followed Bhagyashree's footsteps and had already stepped into the Hindi film industry.
For the unversed, one of the most beautiful actresses of her time and with so much acting potential in her, Bhagyashree had left her acting career when she was right at the centre of everyone's attention. Time and again, she has revealed in many interviews that she holds no regrets about leaving Bollywood. However, she is an avid social media user and keeps sharing glimpses from her life.

Currently, Bhagyashree and her husband, Himalay Dassani, have participated in the television reality show, Smart Jodi. In the show's first episode, the couple was seen exchanging varmala on stage to recreate their wedding moment once again. And now, in the recent promo of the upcoming episode, the duo was seen revealing a hilarious moment from their wedding night. Talking about the same, Himalay shared that on their wedding night, he had expected to see a shy dulhan waiting for him under the ghunghat. But when he had entered the bedroom in reality, he had found his wife sitting in her comfy nightwear. Himalay said:
“Pure shadi ke time sharmili dulhan banke baithi thi. Humlog ki shaadi hogyi, reception ho gya tha. Ab mai mann hi mann mein soch raha hu, ki meri dulhan waha pe pallu-ghunghat lagake baithi hogi. Jaisa main gya dekhta huu saree pari hai, jewellery pari hai, aur Bhagyashree night dress ke andar baithi hai, ‘Hello darling, Hello babes’.”
To this, Bhagyashree was quick to respond, and she revealed that she wanted to make sure that they slept. The actress mentioned:
“Night dress isiliye pehena tha ki so jao, kuch nhi hone wala hai.”

In the first episode of the show, Smart Jodi, the couple recalled the days in 1990 when she had decided to get married to Himalay. She had revealed that her parents weren't ready to accept that. Talking about the same, the actress had revealed that she had got married to her husband amidst strong disapproval from her parents. She had said:
“Mere liye shaadi mein koi nahi tha, sivaaye inke. Jab maine mummy papa se kaha ki main shaadi karna chahti hu inse, woh nahi maane. Maa baap ke baccho ke liye sapne hote hain lekin baccho ke apne sapne bhi hote hain aur kabhi kabhi, unke sapne unhe jeene dena chaiye. Kyuki aakhir mein, unki zindagi hai, unhe jini hai."
On March 7, 2022, Bhagyashree had shared two wedding pictures with her darling husband, Himalay Dassani, on her Instagram handle, reliving the moment, years after her marriage. One of her pictures was from her actual wedding where she could be seen donning a laal dulhan ka joda, sitting beside Himalay, who had looked handsome in his then groom's attire. The following picture was from the couple's second-time marriage with her husband on the sets of the reality show, Smart Jodi, with all the rituals and ceremonies. Along with the romantic pictures, she had shared her excitement for recreating. She had written:
"Can you believe this... replicating what we did 33years ago... reliving the big day of our lives! @himallay27 n me...We got married again thanks to #SmartJodi.... and shared some memorable incidents that people don't know. "
