Our very own Simar aka Dipika Kakar has been in the eyes of the media since she fell in love with Prem aka Shoaib Ibrahim. Now the actress, who is currently seen on Entertainment Ki Raat, is again in the limelight of the media and for yet another good news.

Dipika has always had an inclination towards fashion and she has always been known for her simple yet elegant style. Now, the actress is launching her own fashion contour. And what is different and interesting about her brand is that she has kept the name after her to-be-mother-in-law. The name of the brand is ‘Sitara’. Isn’t that rare and a great gesture?

When Dipika was asked about this concept, this is what she said:
"The fashion line is named after our Ammi's name and she is the inspiration behind my clothing line. My sister-in-law was the one who gave me the idea to turn into stylist. She told me since I have a very different and elegant style, I can venture into having a clothing line for girls who can wear the type of clothes you do. I am enjoying playing with fabrics, colours, etc. Earlier, I was doing it only for myself and our family but now I have decided to take it one step further as a business."
In an earlier interview, this is what she told about her ammi and the love she showered on her. Dipika said:
“I have always longed for family. Ammi sends dabba for me when my mother is not there. I feel I am more close to his mom than him. “

After playing the role of Simar for six years, she became the household name. She has been seen recently rocking the stage of Nach Baliye with her long-term boyfriend Shoaib Ibrahim.

Aww…isn’t that the most beautiful feeling ever? Dipika, we are sure Shoaib will have more such surprises for you up his sleeve even after you take the saath pheras and become mister and missus.
This is what Shoaib said when asked about their relationship:
“Wherever I am today, it is because of her. When I wasn’t working after quitting Sasural Simar Ka, she told me to make a comeback which is worth remembering. On one hand, I am completely romantic but fail when it comes to being vocal or expressive about it. On the other hand, Dipika is extremely expressive and equally romantic. But she has accepted the way I am and is all OK with my in-expressiveness. She literally treats and pampers me like a kid and I love it.”
