Sidharth Shukla, who had shot to fame from the television show, Balika Vadhu, had won the hearts of many girls by proving his mettle in acting. Having worked on some other projects after the show, it was in Bigg Boss 13, that the handsome hunk was loved by the audiences for his straightforwardness.
Apart from Sidharth Shukla's endless dedication to complete the tasks, his camaraderie with Shehnaaz Gill was loved by the audiences so much that their fan pages started trending the hashtag #SidNaaz. Though the duo has always maintained that they are good friends, fans always anticipate something brewing between the duo. However, it was a few days back that reports of their breakup had started doing the rounds in the media.

Miffed at all the rumours, Sidharth Shukla took to his Twitter handle to clear the rumours and maintain his stance on the matter. His tweet could be read as, "Being reading a few newz articles …. Least said they are hilarious…..bhayi eye balls he Chahiyea tho kuch positive likh lo….itni negativity kaha se latte ho…How do you’ll manage to know more about me better than me… least I can say ..may God bless you all."
Sidharth's confirmation came as a relief for 'SidNaaz' fans. It was a few days back that a source had disclosed to an entertainment portal that things are not good between Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill and the two have called it quits. Amidst the reports of the duo tying the knot, this revelation of the source had led to a lot of speculations about their relationship and some websites carried reports of things turning sour between the duo.

Though Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill had never confirmed their relationship, it was in an interview with The Times Of India, that Shehnaaz had accepted her love for Sidharth but she also accepted the fact that she is afraid of losing him, so she is okay being friends with him. She had said, "Initially I used to feel bad and get hurt, but I have understood that I don't want to lose him at any cost. I love him a lot, but he considers me as a very close friend."
Going further in the interview, she had also stated that she values their friendship because nowadays friendships like these hardly exist. She had explained, "I will always love him and he is a special person for me. And I feel in a way it is good because in today's time relationships don't last long and they have a short life at least If I will be his friend for a lifetime."
