While some people are so lucky in love that they live their ‘forever’ with them, some have a roller coaster love life dealing with heartbreaks and emotions. Since love is such a wonderful feeling, one should give it a chance in their life. The winner of Comedy Circus Ke Ajoobe, Sidharth Sagar became second time lucky in love when he patched things up with his ex-girlfriend, Subuhi Joshi. A known face of the telly town, Sidharth disappeared from the limelight when he went through substance abuse, depression and family woes. The 25-year-old young comedian was in a relationship with Sony TV’s Ye Unn Dinon Ki Baat Hai actress, Subuhi, but in 2014 they called it off because of Sidharth’s family issues. However, they decided to work things out and get back together.
And now, to their fans delight, Sidharth and Subuhi have decided to make their relationship official with an engagement ceremony today i.e. November 9, 2018. After their break-up, only six months ago, when Sidharth was healing from his health and was out of rehab, they reconciled and realised that they are destined to be with each other.
Speaking about their reconciliation, Subuhi stated in an interview, "I saw a video of him on Instagram and realised that he was seriously unwell. I connected with him and decided to be with him again because I felt that only he can be my companion.” Speaking about the engagement and the excitement about such a big development in his life, Sagar too shared his feelings.
Sidharth was quoted as saying, “I feel that you should be with a person who loves you completely and not only because you have a certain good quality. There could be a comic side to me, but I do have my dark phases, too. Subuhi has seen that side and she accepts it. I feel it is important to love a person totally. That’s why I feel comfortable around her. We are getting engaged tomorrow in Delhi with Subuhi’s parents and close friends.”
Sidharth’s mother is not invited to the ceremony because she is completely against the relationship. Elaborating on the same, he went on to say, "My mother hasn’t approved of this relationship. I don’t want to discuss that part now because I am entering a good phase in my life. I am only looking ahead.”
Sidharth and Subuhi announced their reconciliation on their respective social media handles. Sidharth posted a lovely picture of the two with the caption, “I’m so happy to come back to you. Thank you @subuhijoshi_essjay darling..” On the other hand, Subuhi shared multiple photos of them, stating that they were always meant to be together, “People who are meant to be together find their way back. They may take a few detours, but they are never lost. After getting back with his girlfriend, Sidharth stated in an interview with the Indian Express, “Yes we are back and really happy. Subuhi took the initiative of connecting again and I am so happy that she did it.” In an earlier interview, Subuhi had also referred to Sidharth as spineless as he didn’t stand up for her in front of his mother.
As per an Indian Express report, a friend of the actor had shared, “It was because of Sidharth’s mother that he separated from Subuhi. He was left disturbed after she left and now that he is no more staying with his mother, Subuhi reached out to him as a friend. But they soon realised that they still love each other and decided to give their relationship a new start. We are really happy to see them back and hope nothing parts them again.”

Subuhi and Sidharth also shared a newspaper capture of their engagement confirmation interview on social media. While Sidharth captioned it with a ring and heart emoji, Subuhi wrote, “Love conquers all” following with the same emojis.
